Borg999
Yea, some spells could use some tweaking, but they're not useless. Although, I agree with you on cull the weak. Killing one unit for 20hp seems underpowered when I can find/purchase up potions and food that can heal just as much (or more) for fairly cheap. But I guess it's a good "last resort" spell.
after the city is destroyed, though, the spot should become a spawn-point for those same monsters. which would suppress any attempts at immediate resettlement. any time a monster destroys ZoC (towns & outposts), the result should be a new spawn point for monsters.
I like this idea.
I think we all agree that dipolomcy in FE needs some work, but I would breifly like to mention one modifier - "Your army is weak". During my current game, my power rating is slightly below the strongest AI (230 vs. 237), yet I have the above mentioned negative modifier against me in the foreign relations sceen. Yes, technically I'm weaker, but not by a material amount. Now, I really don't care that much. If the power ratings are meaningful, it would probably

Additional content, especially magic items, so I don't keep on getting the same things over and over in a single game.

So, if I had waited a few weeks, I could have saved $14 on FE...Nice [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
how did this devolve into a discussion about multiplayer anyway?
The pack will contain multiple maps, so multi player is the next logical discussion topic. [e digicons][/e]
So, my suggestion to you is to just edit "Kill" to what you had in mind for disintegrate. As useless a spell as Kill is imo, I might do the same thing.
I was trying to mod a spell via the toolbox on the main screen of the game. All that tool allowed me to do was to create visual effects, there was no options for range, area effect, pre-reqs, or other settings. Edit: Nevermind, I found a link to a modding

My vote is for option #1. As far as I can tell, the roads are fine, and I didn't know about snaking until last week, and I intend to use this "feature" to my advantage.
Cone of Cold - FE has fireball and lightning bolt, but to my knowedge doesn't have cone of cold. I think this would be a good fit. It should have similar range to fireball, but a smaller area of effect (as much as a cone might have relative to a fireball, and the max damage should be about 2/3 of a fireball, but if the target resists, it is slowed for 1 turn. Disintegrate - A very high level death spell that would either cause the victim to lose half their hit point if they r

The math simply doesn't hold up. Simply put, if a company's profit is $250K before a tax increase, and $200K after the tax increase, all other factors held constant, the business still has sufficient funds to meet the payroll for it's current employees.
Employee salary and benefits are not a tax deductible expense. Companies are not taxed on PROFIT, they are taxed on a"taxable income" which is gross income - approved deductions. Yes, you are correct, it's taxable income. Revenues minus deductible expenses, exemptions, and credits. Depending on the the various deductions you are eligible for, taxable income may or may not be lower than accounting net income. But I stand by my statement. Unless you had really bad tax planning, you would not pay $50K in taxes on 2K of taxable income.
Also, you're assuming that the tax increase is on the income taxes and not within employer-matched payroll taxes.
I agree with you on ROI..but that may be an indication that the Owner is trying to grow his business faster than it can sustain that growth. and taxes aren't the only impediment to growth. Market share, over all economic conditions, price elasticity, availability of substitutes, etc can also play a roll in

I would like this too!
Just in case someone hasn't already mentioned this. I know that heros and Sovereigns can be found wandering by themselves, but this is the first time for the dark mage. I was able to easily kill him with auto-resolve.
eh, magic resistance is usless against an enchanted sword. Stormbringer or vorpal blade anyone? :>) Just some modding ideas...
