The silence on LH is deafening...
Hi, GC2 player from a while ago. I'm a TBSer, not really a RTSer, but there's a sale for Trinity, and I thought I'd give it a try. (I'm at work and unable access game sites, so I can't view system requirements) Thanks!
Another thought. In the demo, the player and AI start closer together. Much closer... I like the idea of not having to take several turns to get from one end of the battlefield to the next, effectively reducing the OP of archers and mages, but this new set up seems to go completely in the other direction, turning the ranged units into "no shot or one shot ponies" before the get hacked to pieces by the AI opponent. My suggestion to re-balance this issue, is to increase their ba
apparently lots of undead monsters have been added.
Ok, thanks, I remember that. Personally, I would rather have a variety of monsters, instead of all from one class/type. With all those undead, I hope they include a "turn undead" spell. Probably would work best as part of life magic.
People under 35 have never been exposed to the "3 chances/lives and your dead" from the 80's arcade era. They've grown up with games where you just loose points when beaten, but your character/avatar never actually dies, so they just can't wrap their heads around the concept of perma-death. So really, the biggest gameplay changes are the swarm mechanic, how heros are obtained, and greater control over the sovereign's leveling up path? Has any content been included? New monsters, quests, magic items, etc?
I like this idea too.
Just a quick question. Has outpost warden upgrade been fixed in LH?
Looks good to me. I'm counting the days. A one week delay means a beta release this Thursday. Right?... [e digicons][/e] But I can't believe you dissed FE in the video. [e digicons]8C[/e] [e digicons][/e]

Unless, they've changed their minds recently, yes, a pre-purchase will get you into the beta.
The solution is to kill all of the AI opponents early in the game, before tons of units are swarming the map. As time goes on and a faction grows, so will the number of units it has. that's just a normal course of events/progression. Limiting the number of units is not the right solution.
I have seen the AI use strategic spells on me, although I'd like to know what they are as I haven't memorized the animation.
I just had a thought. What does it matter if a spell is OP? There isn't any public leaderboard or public ranking system. So if someone "cheats", or uses an exploit, they are only cheating themselves. It's like cheating at Solitaire...

That being said, I think it would be better to increase the manna cost or decrease the spell duration rather than nerfing the effect.
Yey! where or which are the new spells, however?
There is just one new spell "Majesty" (per the 1.3 change log)
Took a close look at the 1.3 changelog last night. I noticed that effect of blind has been reduced from 50% down to to 25%. I disagree with this decison. If it was felt that blind was OP, then IMO, the manna cost should have been increased (e.g. Kurt's volcano), or the duration decreased. As it stands now, the the spell should be renamed the "nearsighted" spell.

Plus it generates good will, which can be very profitable in the long run. It was a very wise business decision. It would make a great case study in how short term losses could yield long term gains. Of course I am aware of the business rationale. That said, Brad doesn't have to oper

It's been a while since I made my own sovereign. But I still think those are the three best choices, even if you can
A combination of beastmaster, weathy and adventurer (feee hereos) IMO are the best traits for a custom sovereign.
