The -9 does not change much, especially with the change to accumulative diplomacy modifiers - it takes too long to degrade the accumulated goodwill. Spell of making isn't as easy as it used to be. Once you start building the towers, you get a -9 relations modifier, and everyone hates you. Although, I've seen the AI build all 4 towers but not bother to cast the SOM too, so I think that should be fixed to increase the challenge. ...and besides, sometimes after a long game, when you don't feel like attacking dozens of cities to win a conquest victory, it's a nice way to "quickly" end the game. </
I love rush. [e digicons]}:)[/e] SD, Please don't nerf it.

Just for future reference. Where can I find the "debug.err"
In my last game, I was second to last in the power rating, and I knew it was just a matter of time before someone declared war on me, so I bribed the 2nd strongest faction to go to war with the strongest. In about 10 turns or so, both AI's had hacked each other to the point where I had the highest power rating. It just seemed too easy.
I think this issue can in part be solved by allowing two spells/abilities per level up instead of just one.
If outpost are removed, then there needs to be an alternative means of acquiring resources that are not located in settleable areas.
Eh, warriors are just cannon fodder anyway. It's all about the magic/wizards, guys. [e digicons]}:)[/e] [e digicons][/e]
Just raising my hand as another person who has experienced the floating tech name issue.

It would seem modern day programming and development is all about the $$, if you notice nearly all games have gone to the nickels and dimes DLC for games INSTEAD of just GIVING it to you in an update or PATC
Remember, this is the first beta. They may add more with each release.
I agree. The updates in LH are a great improvement! The change to the leveling up mechanic is worth the $20 alone.
I agree that city militia should be stronger, but IMO, there should be limits. After all, they are supposed to be the defense of last resort, "citizen" militias taking up arms because the professional soldiers are out of town.
Yea with the new unit placement, I think that at least some spells should have their casting time reduced.

My opinions represent only me, myself and I. What makes you seem entitled is that you behave as if your opinions are more important than everyone else's. It's the way you write. Just upthread you implied that Stardock needs to learn to listen to their customers or they&
Actually, I think Frogboy has you in mind when he is talking about entitled users and I can see why. You are constantly dressing your arguments and opinions in a way that you supposedly know what is best for the game and what should be done next.
As a paying customer, I am entitled to my opinion. I think that everyone with an opinion, believes in the validity of their opinion, and will "dress it" in such a way
Not really. In Civ IV, modders had to write c++ code to hack the ability to change graphics. In FE, we get complaints that the built-in editors aren't consumer friendly enough. in other games, modders would write that. I used to hang out on a French site called CanardPC. And I honestly thought that if we just worked hard enough and made the game really good they'd like it. But there is no threshold to cross

I don't know what the sale is, but you may want to wait for a Rebellion sale if you think it is a game you can enjoy (there are a few TBS players who have become Sins regulars, and its the only RTS they play). If you click the first screenshot on the LH page you can see the mage progression tree with the ability to summon skeletons in combat and such.
I talk about dragons, and you mention skeletons?!? Not even in the same ballpark... [e digicons][/e]
I'd like to see summon beefed up a bit. I'm thinking as you increase in levels, not only do the summoned creatures get stronger, but also multiple can be summoned at once. And I's also like a greater variety of summoned creatures, up to and including one of the weaker dragons. Yea, I know "That would be OP". Well, I can dream, can't I?
