If the crafting system is still on track to be revised, that could help with the mid=game issue.

Perhaps I'm overlooking something, but in the Hunter unit description, it states that the hunter can charm beasts. I've played with a hunter in my SOD a number of times, but so far I've never come across a beast the unit can charm, nor have I seen the charm ability associated with the unit.
The red tile was purposely on for everyone so that they could see it. It didn't matter what video card they were on.
Right, but I thought the red tiles were an indication that the video card someone was using couldn't handle the graphics. (or alternatively, someone with a high end card wouldn't see the red tiles because their card could handle the graphic requirements) So, I thought it might be helpful f
Would it be helpful if people who have encountered the red tile to tell you what kind of video card they are using?
The next phase will be to have it check to see if it's an affect video card so that people with better video cards don't run into this.

Question: Can the priest get more favors?
Off the top of my head, I'm guessing the DM might grant more favors if the game isn't going well. Or it might be based on choices made during quests.
And of course, the priest should have the ability to turn undead...assuming there will eventually be more undead added than just skeletons. And also a Resurrection spell that can bring a trained unit back to life with full hit points in strategic mode, or half hit points in tactical mode.
To keep with the destiny favor theme, I think the priest's hero should be an angel/apparition. Similar to LH, the primary special ability would be taking half damage from physical blows and an innate healing power that increases with the hero's level.
@borg Clearly you're not familiar with customer service. [e digicons]:)[/e] That is indeed the basic misunderstanding here. I look at the forums as a way for us to work together on soe thing I assume we want to enjoy together. But I get the feeling that some people see me as their employee Or servant. I'm not. I want to make cool games WITH you guys. Not FOR you guys. I just ask that you treat
Wow. If I ever told my boss that it just wasn't possible to respond to customers in 24 hours, I'd be shown the door. And customer service isn't realy even of my job....[e digicons]:)[/e]
"Entitlement gamer" has been successfully used by SD for years to lable and shame and silence dissenters, much like some people might use the word Commie or Liberal. I could list the personal experiences l've had with the fan boy attack dogs here, but I'm on my phone. But here is one brief example.. Have you noticed that some people will add a qualifier to their post such as "with all due respect"
Sorcerer King doesn’t address the death lull yet. As enjoyable as it is to research new spells, leveling up heroes, crafting items and such, it is a very linear progression. There is nothing forcing me (or encouraging me) to put resources and effort into a secondary direction. In Sorcerer King, this is where the Dungeon Master comes in. However, as a player, I’d like to see more levers for the player to control how the Dungeon Ma
So, I was playing as the Naphez wimp again [e digicons]:)[/e] , and while I was out exploring, the SK's forces visited me city and conquered it. Earlier, I had built all of the battlement options available, but the SK's units barely received a scratch from those before they were able to enter the city and start a tactical battle. Now, I understand part of the challenge is balancing the available logistics between building a SOD and having enough units to defend a city
We are the vocal minority. Their concern is for the silent majority, who just buy the games without commenting. You mentioned business practices. So you understand it makes good business sense to produce a game that appeals to them. (The majority). And get new and better ideas from the relatively few squeaky wheels for free... Did you guys do a stealth update? In my last game from a couple of days ago, I could have sworn I saw the failed adventurers and wrath of fire.

I'm not sure why terrain effects such as receiving a bonus while on a hill are a bad thing. Seems kind of natural/intuitive to me.
Tropico 5 is on sale at Steam for $19.99 through 11/10
I've played with all of the heros so far, and Naphaz seems to be the weakest. His abilities seem underwhelming relative to the cost (expending hit points). Maybe I've been getting unlucky dice rolls, but all his abilities ever seem to do is nick or scratch his opponents. And if the opponent resists, it takes no damage at all. I assume he was made weak to offset/balance the tyrant's ability to absorb shards. I suggest de-buffing the shard abso

@Island Dog This is a very stable and reliable third party forum software. It may be worth a look. https://xenforo.com/
I'm not just referring to the "game breaking bug" thread, but other threads that I posted more than a week ago.
@Leo in WI If you have a moment, can you confirm the issue?
But it's not a matter of responding, the views are zero. So unless a developer's viewing activity doesn't register on the view counter, that means it hasn't been looked at by anyone.
