Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes 1.6 is due out in April and there will be a new DLC released shortly after that.
Tomorrow is April! Any big announcements? All I've been reading lately is GC3 this and GC3 that... I'm sure that it's very nice But C'mon, let's keep our priorities straight. Space games are a dime a dozen. Who needs them when you have a game like LH? [e digicons]:P[/e] [e digicons];)[/e]

Heck, I'm just happy that my PC will be able to run the game. [e digicons][/e]
I know my core is I5 dual core, but has hyper-threading giving 4 "cores"... game ran fine (except that font problem set-up, which the instructions to get around it worked fine).
Thanks, that's good to know!

I've got 64 bit, but the big question in my mind is - will a PC with an i5 processor, 8 gigs of RAM and a low end AMD graphics card be able to run GC3?
depends on their target audience really. are they going to make it easy for your average granny or they going to target the those who tinker? those who tinker will get to do their thing with more steps anyway...
I see your point, but in the case of Excel, it makes no sense. It was the Accounting & Finance community that made Excel (and Office by extension) so popular. Why would they want to piss
A funny and insightful video from the College humor folks. From my son's perspective, I'm somwhere between the clown and the tyrant. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I remember back in the 90’s how people complained that software was too complicated and had to many options and menu items. The software industry responded, but…I’ve noticed over the past few years that software is increasingly being dumbed down for the end user to the point of being ridiculous.. For example, when I launched IE for Windows 8 for the first time on my wife’s computer, the basic menu bar (with “file”, “edit”, view”,
Elemental 2015 sounds great. I just hope a 3.5 year old computer (by then) can run the program.
I can't access your link or the images from work, but you must be mistaken. There is no way Sins could be more popular than LH. [e digicons]8C[/e] [e digicons]:)[/e]
OK, thanks!
So my wife's computer died and we got a new one wirg windows 8 on it, of course. No sueprise, she didn't like it, so I was looking over the SD products. I have Object Dock on my PC, and it looks very similar to Launch 8. I'm guessing the biggest difference is that Launch 8 is a Widows 8 "native" program? Can Object doc be used on Windows 8?
Spouses DLC, not what I expected. Could be good, could be boring but I will hold judgement till we hear much more about it. I will likely still buy it though because I do want future LH content and the only way I can get it is by showing support. Random Map Expansion DLC, the name alone makes it an automatic purchase for me.
I'm going to be the party pooper here, but I disagree.
Two words. Opportunity costs. Having 3 people work on GC3 will net greater returns than having those same three work on LH.
HOWEVER. You say that the current level and amount of DLC nets to 15k monthly. You take this number and extrapolate that having more than a single employee on DLC for LH is not worthwhile. This logic is totally backwards. You have shown no causation between the number of employees and the expected revenue. I know
Quoting Borg999, reply 78 No. It can't go on forever. Eventually you'll hit a tipping point where we'd have hyperinflation. QE needs to be phased out. Also, I assume the sea
Assuming QE is maintained indefintely, do you expect the 25% market return to be sustainable year after year, or did this happen to be a unusually good year, and other factors, in addition to QE, are keeping it at that rate? I guess I'm the only one here that's indifferent to spouses/children/dynasties. Especially with the current mechanics, in this game, sovereigns never die, so you could have several generations running around togther indefinity. And that would reduce the need for heros...
Just wondering if it's possible since I'd like somehow to emphasize the RPG part of the experience and limit late-on management regarding cities and stuff; would prefer if it was somehow possible to concentrate on battles/exploration more.
If you want to focus on battles, select a tiny map and 10 AI's. If you want to emphasize exploration and quest, select a huge map and one AI.

I mean, an assassin wielding a dagger, the other hand being empty, the only thing possible is a shield? On an assassin?
