All of these ideas are great. Please implement every one of them. - especially the summons spell suggestions. Also, how about a "protection from normal missles" spell. - Protects against arrows and hurled rocks for 1 turn for every 2 levels of the caster. The spell could just benefit the spellcaster or even his entire army (at a higher manna cost and a shorter duration)

These all sound good to me. But please make them scalable (Based on the sovereign's/hero's level, augmented by the appropriate shards owned). It's pretty useless for a 20th level mage to be using a spell that only inflicts a few points of damage against a powerful enemy.
Played it on iphone (where it is fully released), lots of fun. Although I will admit, if it was on PC I probably would have played something (anything) better.
With the exception of FTL, I don't think there is anything better than Plague at that price point.

From the Steam page: "Plague Inc: Evolved is a unique mix of high strategy and terrifyingly realistic simulation. Your pathogen has just infected 'Patient Zero' - now you must bring about the end of human history by evolving a deadly, global Plague whilst adapting against everything humanity can do to defend itself." http://store.steampowered.com/app/246620/ I've played the free version on my tablet. I'm really at a loss to understand the popularity of Civ V.I guess nowadays, a game can be bland, boring and uninspiring, but as long as it's OMG! MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!!!, people will flock to it.

I would like to. I loved T4, but after the disaster that Omerta was, I feel like I should wait until the reviews come out. It could be like the difference between Civ4 and Civ5... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omerta_%E2%80%93_City_of_Gangsters

Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of early access offers on Steam, many from companies I’ve never heard of. It got me thinking, what if any legal recourse do consumers have if these companies don’t follow through on their promise to deliver, or they produce a game, promising features A through Z but the final game only has features A though G. It seems to me almost like mini crowd sourcing or kick starter program. I also get visions of potential vaporware from the 1990&

I guess the Leader pack is selling well. Excellent! That's OK, I'll just wait for the Labor Day sale, or the Summer/End of Summer sale, or the Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years sale. The new business model is great for those with a little patience. [e digicons];)[/e]

Damn entitlement whinny jerks. I banned them because they broke the rules, not because I don't like them.

I have tons of free online storage across a few different companies. 3.5GB from Dropbox, 10GB from OneDrive, 25GB from Norton Zone*, and 10-15GB? from Google Picasa. IMO, Dropbox is the easiest to use. Why would anyone pay for online storage? I can understand how the can make money from businesses, but I doubt they get much from individuals. *received extra 20GB for participating in the beta.

Yea, sorry I went off on a tangent. Just this one question. If someone in your family was suffering ill-effects from the exhaust/particulate matter released by a factory, would you tell the family member to suck it up and deal with it, or would you try to work out a resolution, either on your own, or through your elected officials, even if it meant that the factory would relocate?

Frogboy said" "I would love to announce these games over the next year and get Early Access going for them because most them are brand new IP. The limiting factor for us is PR. That is, how many games do we want in Early Access at once? We don’t know that answer but we do know there’s a threshold before you create what marketing calls a “negative narrative” that becomes very hard to get away from once it has been created."</
Quoting Borg999, reply 2 I read through this from a non-fanboy perspective, and these are some thoughts that went through my mind. Might want to re-word/clarify a few things before releasing it to Steam and elsewhere. So, only people who are willing/able to pay $100 for a game are the only ones committed to the game's concept? Total strawman. There are people who can't afford to pay
