Well, you know, I have thought about this for some time now. It really does not defeat their promotion, as it is still someone with Ultimate that is generating the coupon which is all their promotion requires. That person is then giving it away. In many ways, it is no different than a casino promotion where you show your casino player's card and they give you some sort of gift. You don't really want it, but you still get it anyway. You then turn around and give s

I only have Vista Home Premium so I cannot get the $20 off coupon, but anyone with a Vista Ultimate license can get the coupon for free. All they have to do is go to Linky and let the system verify the validity of the OS. Upon completion, it will issue a coupon (it is a self generating coupon). If some kind soul with Ultimate would take a moment and generate such a coupon a
On the exclusion tab, browse to the exe you want excluded (like notepad.exe)
This is so counter-intuitive to me. I understand now about browsing to the exe, but why am I doing "ex"clusions and not "in"clusions? I have to think, "Okay, I don't want this exe icon on this desktop or that desktop, but I want it on this one." Let's see, if I have 10 desktops, I have to do this 9 times vs doing an inclusion 1 time. I have to stop and think, "Gee, I don't want this exe on de
Color me stupid..... but it sure would be nice to have a bit of a help file for this product. I"ve got 3 desktops that look alike with icons. I delete one icon or move one from desktop 1, and the same thing happens on 2 and 3. So I am obviously missing something, as otherwise the program would be pointless. I then try the Configure Desktops, click on Exclusions, then click on Add. I use the Drag Target Icon over icon on the wallpaper. This gets explorer.exe l

It expires 1/1/8 and was emailed to me by Stardock. It is more of a generic coupon (vs a one time use only coupon) based upon its code. I am using a credit card, and tested it going as far as the confirm order page without actually clicking on confirm, and it did not deduct the coupon amount. Thanks for your thoughts, Schutzhund
Hello, I am trying to use my coupon, but it does not reduce the cart price. Strangely enough, it accepts the coupon, then says, "Sorry, The HOLIDAY-2007 coupon could not be applied because you have already applied it to your cart." Well, if I have already applied it, why doesn't it reduce the price? Any suggestions? Schutzhund
Hello, I'm new here, and while I will be the first to admit that AlienWare's AlienGUIse is not Stardock's WB, I must say that it does use an exe file (as seen in task manager) whose name makes me think there is a coding relationship (it was wb[something].exe). As such, I was hoping I might find an answer here to my problem, since there is no answer in AlienWare's KB. I have installed their Theme Manager and one of the free skins. All was working right until I tried to
