Try actually uninstalling TweakVista, restarting your system (if prompted), then you should see Tweak7 within Impulse, so try installing that. You have a working serial for Tweak7 in your account now. Mike

Do you have any security applications running? This type of error is most often caused by a security application interfering with the downloaded file. If a single bit is off, it will fail the md5 check (to ensure the file is intact). Mike
I guess skinning was much easier back then.... Not really. The 'tools' were more primitive. Coding was often done in Notepad...and much was trial and error in the early days...
Absolutely! As times and technologies change, so do the standards. Look at how games have progressed over the years, for example. Sure, games were "simple" years ago, but the tools to make them were primitive , as well. As a result
This is how far we've come: From this: to this: [e digicons][/e] Mike
Oops, I'll pass this along. Thanks for the heads up :) Mike
I've deactivated your previous (expired) registrations of Object Desktop, so the only remaining one is what expires in 2011. Does this help your problem? Do you have any Object Desktop applications not installed that are successfully showing up as available? Mike
At the moment, we're still working on bringing Win7 support to everything. Neither BootSkin nor SoundPackager are officially Win7 compatible, though I am able to use SoundPackager ok here on my Win7 x64 system. Do you have any security applications installed? Mike
This has been requested a number of times, actually. There are unfortunately no plans at the moment to implement this feature, but that may change at some point in the future possibly. Mike
I've sunk way too many hours into Sins. Easily one of my favorite RTS titles. [e digicons][/e] Mike
Banned for looking into the future... no peeking!!!
Quoting Frogboy, reply 2RightClick is going to get a rewrite. That is very good news.
Long-live RC! :) Mike
also which WB skin do you have applied? Mike
Glad to hear it helped... it's come in handy more than once around here, I'll tell ya [e digicons][/e] Perhaps its advertising is too obscure... I'd think there would have been a bit more feedback in Frogboy's post: https://forums.wincustomize.com/?aid=358061 Mike
Would you be able to post a screenshot of the problem? Also, are you using any other customization software (even WindowBlinds?) Mike
Unfortunately we do not offer Object Desktop Ultimate on disk to order, but what you could do is download the software you're looking to use from http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com and then just burn that to a dvd :) Mike
1 second after i have posted I found '
That happens all too often... (I speak from experience) I agree it would probably help if this (and other) option(s) stood out a little more. I will recommend that to the Fences developers. Mike
Lordofthellamas : If you haven't reached a resolution already, I would suggest contacting support via email at support@stardock.com Mike
or for something more direct, http://impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe Mike
Bolshak: have you tried clicking the blue menu button on the top left from within Impulse, going to Preferences, then the Folders section. From there, enable the option "Prompt for install directory" and change the archive and temporary file location to a drive you know has enough space. Mike
Also, what kind of dream(s) are you running? Keep in mind using a video dream (that has to decode on the fly) will sometimes utilize more CPU if your videocard is incapable of handling the processing itself. Mike
Would you be able to possibly post a screenshot of the problem? (you can use an imagehosting site to get URL and then use the insert/edit image button here). Have you tried uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling to see if that helped? Which OS are you running this on? Mike
One question: I do not have pre-ordered the beta yet. If I do it now, I'll have access to the beta on Monday?
You will, indeed. Mike
Note: While this will work for Stardock published/developed games/apps, this will not work for third party published/developed games/apps. Mike
Wizard1956 : What if you uninstalled DeskScapes and then reinstalled from scratch? This would have a different approach because in incremental versions of a given app/game, only the files that changed are downloaded. It's more likely for a full redownload to go successfully. Mike
But Office XP will work on Windows 7, you shouldn't be punished for upgrading your operating system.
No one is being punished for keeping an older app on an older OS, rather rewarded for upgrading to a newer version of the app for use on the newer OS. If all the newer major versions of Object Desktop applications offered were compatibility with the newer OS, Stardock would not be in business long.
new Object Desktop package.
