I'm pretty sure I found you in the customer database, but will need additional information to verify that for sure. If you pm me your street address (or a past street address you might've had) or alternatively provide this to support@stardock.com or sales@stardock.com along with a reference to this thread, either I or someone else could assist you. Are you saying when you get to the logon the screen is going black, or are you not even seeing it POST? Mike
Try again Rose.....I believe there were some server issues over the weekend.
Indeed, and a few issues persisting beyond the weekend, too. Things should be better now :) Mike
Would you be able to post your debug.err from the Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor folder? Mike
Possibly a font or language issue? I would suggest reporting this with Paradox: http://www.paradoxplaza.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=78&Itemid=181 Mike
Braid is freaking hardcore. Hardly casual.
Despite the fact that there is a lot of depth to it, I would still argue this a casual title on the surface. You can stop playing at any time without fear of losing significant progress. Mike
I did a quick google search and it looks like there are apps that can change the resolution, like this: http://www.softhypermarket.com/ResChange-download_23474.html -- since that apparently accepts command-line arguments, that may be a lot easier than setting something up to script the kb to do the change. Mike
I also vote for fences for this type of functionality. On that same note, ObjectDock is also free, yay! https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock Mike
Trigeminal: Win7 x64 here -- no problems; I installed Fences Pro first and then DeskScapes. Which versions of these apps are you using? Also, which Dream do you have applied? Mike
Mike Snyder: I'm not sure everyone shares your sentiment regarding game patches being a waste of time. While it would certainly be ideal if there were more backwards compatibility with newly introduced patches, I trust the judgement of the Sins team and management regarding their decision here. Though I have never seen the code personally, my guess is that introducing such a feature would significantly slow down the update-release schedule because there may be too many cases to test for.
I was none the wiser of what the hell it was [...] I still am none the wiser...
Thus is the mystery of the space ponies. Mike
rassilon: Which specific version of Deskscapes and Fences does Impulse report you're using? Mike
Do you possibly have anything starting up that is not dwm-friendly? It's possible there might be an app running at that point that can't handle aero and dwm turns off. Mike
Lochinblu: Try this link: http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com Mike
Which OS are you running? (also, 32-bit or 64-bit?) Mike
Are you referring to GalCiv2? If so, it's possible there may be something erroring out with the painting of the textures. Would you be able to post your Debug.err here (located within the Documents\My Games\ folder). Mike
I'm not sure that kind of feature might be feasible for CursorFX, as it serves only to enhance the look of the mouse cursor. My primary concern would be related to if someone were to disable/hide it (intentionally or not) and then forget the shortcut key to retrieve it. Mike
I believe this is actually more widespread. Thanks for letting us know! Mike
You could even try installing WindowBlinds from http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com WindowBlinds has no net code, so there's really no way it could be interfering with the actual traffic. There are certain apps that do not react well to WindowBlinds skinning them, but these can just be added to the exclusion list. Also, I am running Win7 x64 (x2) and Vista x64 here -- no connection issues. Mike
Soon, very soon [e digicons][/e] Mike
Which OS is this on, by the way? (and is it 32 or 64-bit?) Mike
Is Aero not staying applied even if you apply this through WindowBlinds? Could you post the WB sys info from within the config dialog? Mike
Be aware of where you purchase your keys. You're more likely to find an illegitimate copy of a product if you purchase it from an obscure online retailer. As a suggestion to minimize frustration, it's best to buy from either Stardock directly, or from a major retailer (Best Buy, Walmart, etc). Also be sure what you're buying is not used (because it may be already registered to another individual) -- no retailer should not be selling used copies [e digicons][/e] <br
Teleporting is not cheating, its cowardice...
Agreed, teleporting is just an alternative to running away . That is unless of course, you use your teleport ability to teleport right next to your enemies, like Rayden; Rayden was not a cheater. Mike
Yep, that's correct. ThemeManager will need an update to recognize the latest version of Deskscapes. Mike
