My pal Masuda told me in his usual pithy way “I’m telling all my friends to write one a day” sounds easy enough but so many distractions like this cheap pencil and how I hate holding it and Howard Stern’s coming back from commercials in two minutes so how am I supposed to write poetry and

My wife is "vulgar" like that sometimes and I'm tickled that she is uninhibited like that. If you let him know that it turns you on to speak this kind of "vulgarity" maybe he'll be able to accept it more. Good luck.

There is someone inside or a small part of someone trying to break through all the responsibilities the selflessness the duties have attempted to smother him. They don't know he's in there and they probably don't care but I do so I find the cracks in the pavement and I chip away at <BR

Half of my countrymen went into the voting booth to unlock the gates of Hell and raise the mutation of part-embezzler part-simian on high for another 4 year hitch and make the chasm wider and send a thousand unknown faces into their desert graves for the illusion of democracy as the price of oil rises a

You'd never know it from my appearance I look perfectly normal especially now that I have a wedding band and an ever expanding waistline but inside this nondescript shell is a fiery carom game with waves splashing and a hurricane in tears and peals of laughter and there is always music in

I started writing these love poems in 1978 they didn’t work then and they hardly work now they were designed to capture attention through novelty and they sometimes did that but more often they were failures I wanted them to do the courting the wooing and perhaps in the back <
