Start11 Taskbar pinning no longer works or produces any effect

No item in the Start11 "Taskbar pins" menu produces any effect. "Pin file" "Pin folder" "Pin folder menu" all show a dialog for selecting the item to pin, I can select an item, I then get a prompt, "Are you sure you want to pin....", I select "Yes",  and then nothing happens. This happens if I turn on or off "Show folders as submenus". This happens regardless of the item or folder selected. This happened before Start 11 updated to "2.73" and still happens after the update. Nothing also happens if I drag and drop a folder onto the taskbar and get the "Pin to Taskbar" text hovering over the taskbar before I release. No effect. Nothing pinned. The only way to "pin a folder" is the old classic way of opening file explorer, right clicking its icon in the taskbar and then selecting pin. But that only pins "File Explorer" and not a specific folder. Windows 11 is updated to the most recent for my system, build 26200.8737 (25H2).

I believe taskbar pinning in Start11 worked for me in the past but I don't remember when it became non-functional as it is now.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Would like to suggest to try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Purge and Reinstall steps]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

We were able to reproduce this issue and it has been addressed for the next update which should be 2.74.

Thanks for letting us know.
