@Neil Banfield, thank you for your reply. Is there a way to download the installers of the last two versions? Start11 v2.5 Changelog (Released 01/15/2025) Start11 v2.11 Changelog (Released 09/09/2024) I think, but am not entirely sure, that I was using 2.11 . The problem is that the upgrade process does not make a copy of the downloaded binary. Normally updates get made by the software downloading to the download fo

I hadn't upgraded for a while, maybe skipped two or three updates. I upgaded yesterday, and now two important things are broken: 1) I use the old and deprecated, but still useful ObjectBar (also a Stardock product), which I had docked to the bottom edge in hidden mode, where a key combo which was triggered by a mouse button (logitech is customizable, allows to assign keyboard combos to buttons). When I pressed the button, then this ObjectBar bar would show direc

Thanks for your response. So this means that an expired Classic subscription can be reactivated at any time, even in two years, and it will still retain the status of an OLD Classic subscription, allowing me to "refresh" the versions of the products I now own and will then still continue to own?

There's still something unclear for me. If I let the "Classic Subscription", which is currently offering me to be extended, to expire, will I still be able to reactivate the Classic Subscription again let's say a month after it has expired? I mean, it used to be like that, that if I let it expire, I can still use all the software and then, when some new upgrade appeared which was worth it, then I could reactivate the subscription for a year and this way I would get acce

I had already touched on this topic in https://forums.stardock.com/521704/ because Start11 did break the app " Power Mixer " where it gets unhooked when Start11 replaces the actual taskbar. It would be far easier to implement this directly in Start11 with the added benefit that it would work on any of the taskbars on any monitor. Options should include (1) enable

Hi Paul. Actually, the truth is that Windows 11 by itself allows to use the scroll wheel over the small icon in order to change the volume without clicking on it in order to open the dialog which your gif shows. But the difference is that Power Mixer applies this effect to the entire taskbar, so that there is no need to hunt for a 16x16 pixel small icon, since the entire width of the monitor is available for scrolling. In addition to that, you jus

I'm a user of Actual Solution's Power Mixer which has a feature to scroll with the mouse wheel anywhere over the task bar in order to raise / lower the audio volume. To me this is one of the most useful things on my system because I always wear a headset and change the volume constantly. The issue I'm having is that when Start11 starts up and replaces the task bar, then this feature of Power Mixer stops

An update to Start11 started to hijack my Win-Key, which I use to add ä ö ü á ó ú and so on to my keyboard. I have used this workflow for at least 5 years. Now, when I want to get the uppercase variants of those, Ä Ö Ü and so on, then I need to combine it with the shift key, but if first press the shift key and then the Win key, then Start11 takes over and pops up some dialogs which I don't need.
