Start11 hijacking Windows key

Conflict with AutoHotkey

An update to Start11 started to hijack my Win-Key, which I use to add ä ö ü á ó ú and so on to my keyboard. I have used this workflow for at least 5 years.

Now, when I want to get the uppercase variants of those, Ä Ö Ü and so on, then I need to combine it with the shift key, but if first press the shift key and then the Win key, then Start11 takes over and pops up some dialogs which I don't need.

This is the update which broke it for me:

1.4.5.2 (file version) - 1.45 in UI

06/01/2023

  • WinKey handling on the very latest Win11 builds improved so if the user is using Explorer patcher or using the right WinKey it will now support those.

And the latest update contains:

06/21/2023

Version: 1.46 (1.4.6.0 file version)

  • ...

  • Added option to block Winkey handling entirely when in a fullscreen application

I very badly need an option to block Winkey handling entirely. Or to revert it to the previous functionality where it did not interfer with AutoHotkey.

Thanks and kind regards.

We have a new beta build coming later today which should address this.
