Further to my previous remark: The bad performance is related to using a networkdrive or even a drive connected to a directory on my machine. (Like a mapping for my google drive)
Is the network drive a portal fence or just a shortcut on your desktop?

Work was done in 3.0.4 to address this issue. If you are having this issue and are using 3.0.4 please contact support. Because this issue does not affect everyone it becomes more difficult to determine all the root causes. More information is needed and the support team has ways to collect it. https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit
Subfolder view states are not inherited from the parent but can be changed and will retain that setting. Reflecting the Windows File Explorer view would be an interesting option and I'll take ti to the dev team
Right-click on tabbed ObjectDock Select Add Select Tab Select Folder Tab Browse to the folder you want on the tab Select a file Select [Open] Right-click on new tab Select View Select teh view you want
This is resolved by Microsoft in Windows 10 build 16184.1001
Are you using the 3.0.4.12 build?
Got it. Thanks.
Good feedback. I'll pass it along

Interesting. We've not seen that during internal testing or in the beta. Can you both contact support so we can collect some data on this? https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit
Thanks for the feedback. I have passed it along to the dev team.
I have the same problem. Using Fences 3.0.3 on Windows 10 with a two monitor setup. Both monitors are 1920x1080 dpi. No special software, just Windows 10 with the desktop set to "Extend" and a picture set to "Fill", which spreads it across both monitors (the pictures I use are panoramic, so they are wide enough for this to look good). If I turn on translucency, the blurred image is clearly being pulled from the wrong part of the background pictu
It's all or nothing though. You can not exclude or include some fences
It appears you have two accounts (FirstLast, first.last). I have merged them to firstlast. You can login and update it to what you prefer at https://www.stardock.com/accounts/accountinfo
I've sent TWO support tickets to Stardock that have gone unanswered... Fences stopped working and will not accept my paid license number.... wondering if I'm the only one...
Stardock is closed on the weekend. Having said that, it appears you are trying to activate Fences 3 with a Fences 2 serial. Try using your Object Desktop key instead. Lastly, please note that, as stated in the support confirmation
If you are using an Intel graphics card the issue may be with it's entry in the right-click menu. If you are comfortable with tweaking the registry you can download the following, unzip it, and double-click and it will disable that entry and should resolve the issue.
Having the same problem - additionally, those icons which can't fit on my primary monitor and would naturally spill-over to my 2nd monitor are now sandwiched/overlaying on the far right edge of my primary monitor.
Can you post a picture or video of this? Thanks
Have you pinned everything to the Start menu and also removed everything from the most recently used area?
Uncheck the last option on Roll-up tab
Thank you.
What is the ticket ID please?
