They're very different things. DesktopGPT is an AI chatbot that lives on your desktop — you ask it questions, it gives you answers. Think of it as having ChatGPT built into Windows. Clairvoyance doesn't actually include any AI itself. It's a workspace platform that makes AI dramatically more useful. Instead of having disconnected chat conversations, Clairvoyance gives AI agents access to your actual data, organized into workspaces, with persistent memory so they get smarter t

I'll look into this. You shouldn't lose seats when upgrading. Let me get someone on it.

Once upon a time… In 2008, right after we released Galactic Civilizations II and Sins of a Solar Empire , we at Stardock felt pretty good about ourselves. We had assembled an amazing team of people that could make amazin

[quote who="gsawtell58" reply="8" id="3964691"] Trying to access my account takes me in circles. I enter my email address and it sends me a link that supposedly takes me there, but only results in opening another page to enter my email, ad infinitum. Not only that but I was charged twice for an order and I have had zero luck reaching out to remedy this. I am about to initiate a dispute with my bank because nobody responds to my requests. [quote who="twhiting9275" reply="3" id="3964635"] When will we have paid access back? You're still telling users that they have no such account, despite having an account, and refusing to let us login This isn't rocket science here. Fix the paid portions of services first , then 'community' portions after! Better yet, have proper systems</str

This UI was made by AI. So was this: We are not quite at the point where AI can make the actual WindowBlinds skins themselves. Certainly not in real time. But I think we are getting close to where skinners will be able to make skins much more easily. <

We don't generally allow politics on the forums. With the obvious exception of The Political Machine. The Political Machine - The Power of the Presidency Can Be Yours! Today we were finally able to get most of the forums back from the dead. 2 weeks ago we didn't think we would be able to bring them up. And to be honest, we probably will never get everything back. Fun fact: These are (one of) the oldest continuously running forums on the Internet. When we wrote the forums, back in the late 1990s, we had to do everything from scratch. We built these to replace Usenet. So a few things: If you're forum

I recently got back into Virtual Machines and found the performance terrible on Windows 11. I couldn't figure out why. There was noticeable input lag and even moving windows around was sluggish. I looked on Reddit and elsewhere and got advice about installing tools or configuring the VM differently but eventually just had a feeling that it had something to do with security on Windows. So after a lot of trial and error I found this option:</

Nearly a month ago now I got a call early in the morning. It was from our IT lead. The Datacenter...was gone. At first I thought we were under some sort of DOS attack. Then I feared the worst, some sort of Ransomware? Were we going to find out that everything was encrypted and gone? We soon learned, no—but in some ways, it was worse. Everything we had at the Datacenter was wiped out. Everything. 34 Terabytes spread across a dozen+ servers of various ages w

There are a lot of issues we've found with skins and Edge. When newer apps come out but older skins are applied, WindowBlinds tries to apply (or guess) what piece from the skin might work. We're working on a new version of WindowBlinds that we hope is better at doing this as Edge, especially since moving to Chromium has been a particular challenge.

It's January and we are still all working from remote which means zero progress on porting since the console kits are at work. But hopefully we'll be back in the office soon(TM).
