No way, i can't buy that. If that WAS the case the genome would be extinct (think about it). Maybe a mutation, but that numbers of "bent" people are far to high for that. And if it IS the case that your sextuallity is predetermind by your genetic makeup then should Jackson really be charged of anything? Yes...the reason it'd be politic to digress from the 'homosexuality' facet of the discussion is that some have an obscure impression [and wrong] that it is 'learned' not 'inherent through genetic pre-disposition' and such mis-information-fuelled debate would be less than PC and an affront to any of our members that are homosexual.

Call it prejudice or discrimination through ignorance, it's better that if you only 'think' you are an expert to just say nothing. If you are a published geneticist then perhaps you warrant a voice.

I find it offensive as Janetta and I have several male and female friends who live different lives to the so-called norm.
All are great company, mostly creative, employed in good jobs and contributing to the variety that is the Australian society .... as distinct from the Rednecks that have a need to use religion as a crutch to quote ill-informed fiction as a means to shore up their own inadequate and humourless little lives.
We appreciate our 'gay' friends AND our 'straight' friends for who they are as 'people', a friend is a friend ..... and real friends are bloody hard to find.
