Caution....Admin at work.....

The 'things' we do...

To....xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Re...'xxxx' by xxxxxxxxx.

You might like to desist from personal and/or childish remarks such as 'you can suck on mine'.

That wall was accepted for upload because it was 'quirky'.
There are way too many people out there who think that because they have the patience to wait for Bryce or any other app to create a scene FOR them that they are therefore God's gift to art.
This is mostly not true. Most 'Bryce Artists' are button-pushers without a creative bone in their body....preoccupied with making 'real scenes' that a camera usually does quite a bit better.

The 'clever' thing about 'some' of these walls/scenes is that they CANNOT be duplicated in real-life. THAT is where the interest lies.

Now, change your attitude in future comments posted on Wincustomize.com or expect to have your access entitlement revoked.

Participants on this site do not enjoy personal attack or immature behaviour.

No second chances here.
Your move.

Cheers,
Paul

Don't blame the warning in the least nore the line in the sand for that matter. The thing I do
find amazing is that I have been an OP on a IRQ News Server for a few years now and one is
hard pressed to know if you deal with an actual child or well a child

Sorry to see that has happened and also sorry to see you put in the position to deal with it Jafo. It's not what you do this for I am sure...

peace, JohnG

There are way too many of the negative comments around here. Almost always from people that have nothing to offer the site. One commented suxx on my newest cursor and I just starting laughing. clicked on the user ID and to no surprise they did not have any of their own work on the site. I figure this person could not upload anything decent even if they paid someone to do it.
Opps! /mw got a bit negitive there, sorry.

I hate to see people getting put down of thier own work that they are proud of, after putting the time into making their projects. I know how much effort and time goes into the work becuase i have been doing similar things for quite a while. Im just agreeing with Madam Keila on this one

It's a shame when people's work gets slagged off by talentless morons incapable of giving a useful critique. Using the infamous puke icon (now gone ) or saying 'this sux' is pointless and immature.

As I've said before, if you don't like something, say so, but say why. Skinners are always looking to improve their work and constructive comments from another skinner can be really helpful. Any negative comments should always be constructive not destructive otherwise there's no point in commenting at all.

/me steps off the soap box and makes way for someone else...

A Constructive critique can help a skinner, but it would be nice if it was combined with some praise for some part of the work that you like,Hopefully some part was worth praising.I deserve no praise for spelling.

erm i must be missing something here Jafo, this is the world of digital art now where you push buttons "Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, 3DMAX, Lightwave, Bryce", but true there are what you could say alot of too many *cough* ring styled walls that just dont cut it, from what ive seen now and i see how you "hate" Bryce so much with your "BryceWorld". :o

It's not the program its how the user creates the art, look at Buzz_Hog's work for Bryce

https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=Buzz_Hog&sort=Name&order=Descending&library=8

can hardly say Bryce is not good or that Author, plus alot people like strange yet clean wallpapers, sci-fi looking or shiny glassy effects but its how its done is the key and good imagination.

I STILL dont like Bryce due to the face that it takes up to hours even to render one frame of something, even with not much detail, other than that, i still find it an "ok" program to use to bring up nice reflecting images, and usefull booleen option i like using in it as well.

Eventually a response...

XXXX....
Thankyou for a polite response...

Yes, it's a great site, and via ewmails such as this we try to keep it so.

We 'police' comments made by others on skinners' work specifically so that the actual site contributors are not harassed unfairly.
It was deemed that your comments were where the problem lay so communication was dispatched.

Hopefully you'll be able to restrict skin/wall comment to reasoned, constructive criticism, rather than any form of specific 'attack'.

I know it may be hard not to respond if 'goaded', but restraint shows great maturity...

I'm glad you like 'our' site so much....500,000 plus members agree with you.
We are the most 'popular' skin-related site on the Internet, DeviantART.com comes a fairly remote second. The prime difference between the two is the average 'age' and/or 'maturity' of its members [active].

Welcome aboard, and I/we hope to see some 'contributions' from you, as well...

Cheers,
Paul Martin

This is what I hate about this site...
Of course Bryce artists have absolutely no creativeness at all, that is understood.
Thank you very much.
