am i the only one with this problem? when i click my shortcut for wincustomize.com, i can go and make a cup of tea while i wait for the site to load in. no i am not on on dial up, i have 8mb broadband. when i browse skins and themes the pages are just as slow. then i saw the avertisment "buy a wincustomize subscription.......blah blah de blah blah.......many benefits including....blah blah.......no advertisements meaning faster page loading.....blah blah". so i bought a subscription. pages load just as slow as before.........yes i did install the wincustomize browser, the problem is this is worse than internet explorer and firefox 3.

anyone else pi**ed off at the speed of the wincustomize website?

What Messiah1 means is......this is a thread, and threads are meant to be hijacked. Be thankful the the issue was addressed ^_^ .


As for FF3 vs. IE7....well, FF3 loads faster for me, less bloat, but....it depends on my connection. I have 7mb broadband via remote, since I live in Central Oregon :annoyed: , which means that at any time of day the pages load fast, or slow. I want 20 mb fiber optic here....now!!!!!! XO :'(

OK. today I have had slow page loads and buttering Bebi's avatar on both side was excriciatingly slow... so slow in fact, it needed warming over a hotplate (new FF extension) 4 times so it would still spread.  The worst part was that I couldn't get into the forums at all earlier today (Sat morning Oz time)... wasn't until the Oz PM before I could get ino the forums, trying both IE and FF.

Been here twice today - left because pages are loading slow as shite. Made a comment at 8 am on one skin...had to close down browser cause my cursor was endlessly spinning and I could feel my arteries hardening while waiting. Using FF 2.0.0.1.7....and no I do not have dial up ...

It's not your browsers people..... WinCustomize simply need to focus and completely revamp these hidious & slow forums...! These forums are cheap looking and ugly and need to look a bit more professional and made a lot faster period, this isn't 1995!

supershaft1961... I use FF3 and ie7. At times the site is like molasses in January. At others it's pretty quick. I've seen several posts on this topic and none ever seem to get anywhere slowly or quickly (lol). Sometimes a bit of humor helps as I don't see any ping data from anyone here.
