America: Freedom to Facism

America: Freedom to Facism

I strongly urge anyone who cares about this country to watch this movie. Unlike Michael Moore's partisan and politically motivated movies, Aaron Russo is able to look at the very serious issues facing our nation with objectivity, as a concerned citizen.

From IMDb: "A documentary that explores the connection between income tax collection and the erosion of civil liberties in America."

The conclusion will leave the uninitiated gasping for breathe, as Mr. Russo connects the dots from the formation of the Federal Reserve in 1913 to the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. and REAL ID acts of this century, all the while painting a vivid and frightening picture of who the true enemies of Freedom are.

"Stop being good Republicans. Stop being good Democrats. Start being good Americans."

I feel compelled to quote Tony Montana from Scarface:

You need people like me so you can point your fingers and say, "hey, there's the bad guy!"

You're doing a top-notch job fighting the BNP by posting about them on the forum.

Ah, yes. The classic way of solving problems with a violent group.

Burning them. Top notch!
They beat up some of our members in derby ever since then we've been fighting.

They're a violent bunch of idiots, so you've turned into vigilantes to stop them.

Way to go, you've fallen to their level.

Let me rephrase that: You despise a group for their violent racist ways. What do you do? Beat the crap out of them and burn down their headquarters.

I despise the BNP. I also despise hypocrisy. You want to take a political stand against violence and racism, yet you think you have the right to do that while returning their violence in kind?

You, sir, disgust me.

no we dispise there rasist ways

whem did i say i was standing against violence?

I'm sorry. I didn't understand a gorram thing you wrote. Do you chew on your tongue while talking?

Try using a dictionary and make an effort to use punctuation more than once.

Morning Wheel... nice to see this thread going. In Lordpinko's defense I do believe he said that he had dyslexia... whether true or not I do not know but nonetheless just thought I would drop that one out there
Reply #90 Top
Top of the morning, Evil.

Regarding dyslexia: I doubt it's true. People with those kinds of disabilities go the extra mile to keep it clean because there's severe discrimination against learning disabilities.

I would say Lordpinko is just lazy.

Could very well be the case... it's fun to be evil isn't it?  It really expands the possibilities one has to, well, you know

may i reccomend "the world is flat" to anyone wishing to research globalization.

Another good book aobut it is Jihad vs. MacWorld by Barber. Basically, he talks about how nationalism (once meant to unite people of various groups) are is now being used to fragment societies into smaller groups, as differant groups seek their own independence. He also discusses how groups, when they feel that thier national/ethic/cultural identity is being lost (often by thier own people) may react. It was written back in '94 or '95, before these issues really became everyday issues to the rest of the world.

I am someone who actually can make a political stand without being a filthy hypocrite like you.

If you don't understand why that is, you are a total failure at defeating small minded prejudiced idiots, because you are one.

OUCH!!!  I think that one was game, set, and match baby, yeah!

The nationalism post is actually a good response to Mumblefez's can't we all jest get along Cumbaya soliloqy.

The short answer is No.
The long answer is No, because no matter how big or small the group, there will always be a faction to disagree with any and all decisions. Its called diversity, and we're hardwired with it to maximize our chances of survival.

Say, for example, we choose a moron to lead us (any examples come to mind?), some of us will be smart enough not to follow. If, however, we choose a genius, some will be too moronic to follow. It may be inefficient, because there's always folks making bad decisions, but it also ensures that there are always some folks making good decisions.

Fascism can be a good thing. Especially if you are one of those who profit from it. If you are one of the victims, then any government system can suck. The USA has been a fascist state ever since Reagan. Today, most of our leaders are corporate heads. All that is left is for the government to declare that representation will now come from corporate CEO's.

Monoculture = death. Couldn't agree more. Cheers, Shu.
