I am having the error 123 appear when installing Sound Packager Beta. I use Bitdefender antivirus. The install does not pause to let me select "Safe Files". If i select view details in the "Safe Files" window and "ok" the setup software, the resulting action just cancels the install and removed the software. Bitdefender does not have a disable feature to turn off the protections.
Hi, I am also having the same issue as above. I am trying to download the Groupy Demo. Groupy-sd-setup.exe is unsafe to download and was blocked by Windows Defender SmartScreen. Windows 10 Pro 1709
My Object Desktop manager just did an update on start-up. It now shows Décor 8, Modern Mix and theme manager, two of which were specifically for Windows 8, now are compatible with Windows 10? They were all listed at the bottom under Not Compatible with Windows 10. Just thought I would let people know, before trying to install these under Windows 10. Hi well, then you need to pay up your subscription, standard 1yr 29.99 or /9.99 deposit and 3.99 a month for infinite (monthly) to regain access to your downloads. You can then use Object Desktop Manager to download and install them, they are then stored in your Downloads folder under Stardock. Backup the Stardock folder to another drive or burn them to DVD so you will have them next time. My object desktop manager still shows all software front he past 10 years.

I am currently running CursorFx 2.11 on Windows 8.1 with absolutely no issues in the Modern Start Screen or anywhere else in the OS. Some games that have an animated cursor you do need to use "Cntrl-Shft-C" to disable it though. The trial does not have the fix included for the Modern Start Screen, which is in the Full Software package after purchasing. Just pay for the full software, its cheap on sale right now. nbafan99, What version of windows and what version of CursorFX Plus are you running ? I have windows 8.1 and cursorfx2.11 running and they are working beautifully together. Is your windows fully updated with all patches. Also, don't use Stardock Central as it is no longer supported. if you received the Product Key in your email like you said, that is what you need to activate with, that is the serial number = product Key. the email you recieved should have a link to your account with download instructions.

Hi SoundPackager has not been updated or rewritten for windows 8.0 yet (or 8.1). If you check the requirements page( https://www.stardock.com/products/soundpackager/ ) there is NO mention of Windows 8 support. It has some issues with the OS. The program as far as I know is not End of Life yet, so we may yet see an update for a this and maybe one or two other stardock apps that we are waiting for.

I have been having issues with the start button in windows 8.1 not responding to my mouse clicks. It does respond, but extremely slow, sometimes it takes several clicks and a wait of 30 - 60 seconds for the start screen(modern) to show up. I have used CursorFX 2.11 since it was released on Windows 8 Pro x64 with no problems at all. works great. No special compatibility fixes, and installed with Stardock Central. Have completely redone the systems hard disk last week and changed full hardware too, still works great. I use all my Object Desktop apps, all work great. Cheers, not sure what problems you are having with the paid version.

Hi Why not use AUTOHIDE, just double left click on the desktop to hide the fences, and then when they are needed double left click the desktop to show them again. I know there is a feature in version 2 of Fences which allows you to exclude a fence from the autohide function. Cheers
