Hi All programs I have run here with the Modern-Mix app running have closed absolutely every time with the Red X in the corner, as well as minimizing and maximizing using either the task bar or Tiles as well as the windows or full screen options from the menu in the top right corner. Is there a particular app that is not closing for you? You are running windows 8 Correct? and have Modern-Mix installed and activated? GigaByte69

Hi, Just a correction for you, I think you mean AMD Eyefinity technology. ATI has not exsisted since AMD Purchased them several years ago and dropped the ATI Name. I just wish there was more documentation on the Eyefinity set up at config settings. Cheers GigaByte69

Nods my previous install worked fine under windows 8 Pro, however I just reformatted last week do too a failing C Drive, and installed stardock central, and tried to re-install SoundPackager and got a error regarding and it needed to install updates to .net or something?, so I cancelled install. However there is not even a forum for SoundPackager anymore? I found this post by doing a search with the new search tool and it worked awesome

Thanks Zubaz Yes I am using the Win 8 style in the wide size. So that explains it. Great software though, much better than the full screen version. Any plans to integrate either wallpaper, deskscapes or different coloring of the Start Screen and Logon Screen? The Microsoft collection is a bit boring. Thanks

Hi all When you bring up the configure start8 menu with right click on start button, the CONFIGURE option is not clickable at all. STYLE, CONTROL and ABOUT all work fine. Is this a future option to be added? I am a registered Object Desktop Customer, it did not ask for serial number at all either, just an email address and password to download it. Hi, I know that tiles is still in beta, but I am running the full activated version on my Windows 8 Release Preview. I am not sure if its in a future update, but will the possibility to have Apps show up on the Tiles Bar? My regular Applications like IE, Chrome, Word, Excel and Games show up, but any apps that are run from the new start screen do not show up, and I have to use windows version bar on the left screen side to close them individually. Thanks Zubaz WindowFX 5 Beta is also not showing up in the installed software list today. It is in the My Account page and I do have show Beta Software on stardock central settings. I have installed Tiles on the Windows 8 CP build. I can only use the unactivated FULL tiles Bundle though,and yes, i know that Stardock has said earlier that Stardock Apps are not ready for Win 8 yet and dont plan on it anytime soon, but they did say ask and maybe some help. okay all i did was repartition my C drive (was 1tb) made a 250 gb partition, then proceeded to to do a clean boot and installed Win 8 CP from burned ISO dvd. All worked great. i have dual boot to either win 7 pro or win 8 cp. All is good.

Hi all I have been using the Win 8 CP for the last week now,and have figured out how to resize the tiles on the Metro Start by right clicking and choosing size from the bottom menu. You can also drag the tiles to diffgerent columns and resize them in those columns. Also, you can individulally hide the tiles from view you dont want to see like txt or doc files or any you choose. I have also installed Tiles on the build. I can only use the unactiv

hi hmm, i think i would access it through the start menu, programs, stardock, object desktop, window blinds and just make a dektop shortcut(right click and send shortcut to desktop). once it is run and a theme is installed/applied the first time it should now appear in the bottom right by the clock as icon in system tray. cheers GigaByte69

Hmm My Subscription expired in July. Last weekend i did my renewal through the stardock store and all worked great. Instantly my software (Object Desktop) was available again to download and install, each indiviual app. Downloaded, installed and activated all my apps. Guess you will just have to wait and see what stardock sales says. GigaByte69
