Actually there is a workaround that even works with the taskbar hidden. Just press win + b and enter. The system tray will popup.
This is at best a crutch, and not a real longterm solution. MyDockFinder really does it smoothly, and then some. Never looked back to ObjectDock. I, too, was upgrading to ObjectDock 3, and only realised afterwards, it's not having tray support any more.

Shit, I didn't see that before buying the upgrade. That's really funny, having paid for an upgrade to see functionality gone. And yes, there is still at least one launcher that still shows the system tray, namely MyDockFinder, and it does it well. Feel just slightly underwhelmed with OD3 right from the beginning.
thank you very much for the update. I am looking forward for a solution on this.
Don't get your hopes up. This is the default cookie-cutter semi-automatic response they give all bug reports here (and just see the first reply on this thread). As soon as Windows supported tabs in Explorer I uninstalled Groupy and haven't looked back.

I had reported this problem maybe about a year ago when I was using Insider Previews of Windows 10. You back then refused to even look at it, because you wouldn't support beta versions of Windows. The problem still remains: Grouped windows from one desktop are being pushed to other (virtual) desktops when you create a group, or an explorer window there. How to reproduce: Have two virtual desktops (or more) configured. Set explorer windows to group auto

I see, already got the info on another issue I had and, up to the current date, hasn't been resolved. I had the problem with inactive tabs not showing text (black on black) since many months, don't remember really, probably since Windows (Insider) ships with the dark theme. I hadn't changed any design settings on Groupy, so was wondering if I could do anything to solve the issue (apart from having a separate groupy bar on my Windows). Will wait for your slightly newer version then.</p

Hi there, I have had the problem that inactive tabs on Windows 10 with dark theme enabled don't show the tab title, and having a new computer with the latest Groupy still doesn't fix the issue. No special colours defined, and 'Combine if possible' is enabled. Any way to fix this?

Hi Sean, thanks for getting back so swiftly. I am using different sets of Explorer windows on both Desktops to handle different stuff, and it doesn't always happen LITERALLY immediately, and moreover, I am not able to observe what exactly triggers that mixing and re-grouping of Explorer windows. So it might take a bit more than a sitting and waiting for it to happen :). #jussayin ;-) . As for the Sandbox, I would have to try, since I didn't ever use it before. Thanks for takin

With the latest version, this un- and re-grouping across multiple Desktops on Windows has gotten even more drastic - it usually happened after a few hours, but now happens almost instantly and constantly - Explorer windows from Desktop 1 receive Explorer windows from Desktop 2, so they are grouped together, and mostly others are ungrouped and moved across Desktops. Despite your notice you don't support Insider Preview versions of Windows, can your reproduce it? Or are bug reports simply disca

Hi Basj, it's highly speculative dragging the problem towards the Insider build, and I suppose Stardock didn't even think of testing out the bug on a regular build? As far as I know from studying the logs, there haven't been changes to the Explorer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to go back from Insider builds to a regular one, so I can't revert my machines in order to prove this bug exists :).

Hi again, any updates on this? This happens reproducibly all the time and across computers. If I have, say, two Explorer windows tabbed on Desktop 1 and four Explorer windows on Desktop 2, after a certain amount of time three of the four windows on Desktop 2 wander to Desktop 1, so I have to relocate and re-attach them to the out-singled one on Desktop 2. That's a bit messy. Thanks!

I am using multiple Desktops on Windows 10 (the Windows-internal feature) to have two separate workspaces. It happens repeatedly that I have a bunch of (Explorer) windows grouped together on Desktop 2 and either one or no (grouped) Explorer windows on Desktop 1, and after some time the grouped Explorer windows from Desktop 2 appear on Desktop 1. Groupy seems to mess up and groups those together with Explorer windows from Desktop 1 or just puts them there in case there were no Explorer windows

Yes, currently trying Groupy out, and this was one of the first things I noticed - - I dragged a browser windows from the right to an explorer windows on the left, both then sit on one side and jump screens when I switch between browser and explorer tabs. Weird!
Some of you are saying that since we now have your money, you're out of luck and on your own. This is absolutely not true and I take offense to that since it is my job to support these apps and you the customer. We have long supported applications and games that are no longer the most popular shortcut on your desktop and we will continue to do so. Please, have some patience with this.
I would like to thank DJcat2000 for suggesting Winstep Nexus as an alternative. I downloaded and installed the free version; works very well in Windows 10 (in other words IT'S COMPATIBLE) and it's much more customizable than OD. Thanks again DJcat2000. Dear Jorge, I think I understand what you are saying, and thank you so much for elaborating on it! Though I have to bring in that you could (past tense?) buy Stardock software for a one-time fee, i.e. without yearly subscription if you only want one or two of their applications. What I just did with WindowBlinds and ObjectDock (and a few more later). Meaning, the software worked well until the (official, not pre-versions) release of that new Windows version. And version X+1 (u
Please elaborate on this alternative. I am running RocketDock (free) but find it lacking compared to ObjectDock. I'm open to alternatives. I pay for Object Desktop almost exclusively for ObjectDock, but find OD causing problems lately, especially Win 10 64. If Stardock isn't reading here anyway, it can't hurt to mention the alternative. I, for one, won't renew ObjectDesktop unless I hear somewhere that OD is "fixed."<br
I think Jafo's answers speak volumes about Stardock attitude toward its paying customers. Start10 works fine with Windows 10. Many, many other programs far larger and more complex than ObjectDock work also fine with Windows 10. Clearly it is not Windows 10 causing the problems ObjectDock has. It is ObjectDock which is sold as "compatible with Windows 10" when IT"S NOT. I opened a support ticket with Stardock S

Pardon me, but I don't like being accused of trolling. I have submitted my experience here on various threads and saw little to no attention for the issues. If I was only here to troll, I would not care for reason nor reporting I suggest. You may think of your customers what you want, and you obviously do. Sorry, I will refrain from posting here, and want to excuse for my disturbance - although I welcome that there is actually a conversation with you as opposed to the threads with

Okay, I understand that, and also know that not everybody has (the same) problems like some of us obviously do (not counting in the ones who do not complain, but still have it though). Still I think the best move would be for Stardock to warn users on the product page to be aware of possible/common problems when running OD+ (are you using plus?) on Windows 10 BETA ( :) ).
