I give up after spending over an hour trying to track this down. Please look at the following picture. What is the WB5.5 attribute for the selected (highlighted) files and/or folders in explorer? The example screenshot is using the Acrylic skin. A few of these items are pointed to with red arrows. Outside of the new selected checkbox view in vista, I'd never be able to tell what files are selected/highlighted. A point in the right direction would be greatly ap

Another problem: 5.50 (build 76 x86 - Vista Edition) does not play well when you remote desktop into the Vista system. Buttons, radio buttons, check boxes are all blank (can't see them). There is also a square black border of about 5-10px around every window/dialog. Color depth for the remote desktop session has no bearing on behavior. Skin = Acrylic.

I figured this one out last night. If visibility is set even one-tick toward Transparent what you describe happens. To fix, just adjust the visibility on all your bars to be fully opaque. FYI Stardock/Developer: I realize that an officially "Vista-Compatible" version of OB2 has not been released yet. It works fine for the most part. Right now, the only other problem I've noticed besides the one leezer3 and myself found is that the notification area (tray) doesn't seem to work at all

Bug: The taskbar is two-high. You can resize it up (larger) but not down smaller than two-taskbars-high. You can sometimes get around this by moving the taskbars from the bottom to the sides and top and then back to the bottom again. Also in many cases, there is no resize arrow for the taskbar when you hover over the appropriate edge. Even if you mess with it and get it to one-taskbar-high, if you logoff or reboot, it's right back to two-high. I'

Fresh install: Vista Ultimate x64 Build 6000. System is an AD Domain member. WB 5.5 Installs fine through Stardock Central. Select a skin and apply, it goes to windows classic display. Every time after that, when you try and launch WBConfig, I get a reboot notice saying WB needs the system to reboot...reboot and the same thing happens again. I've tried reinstalling WB 5.5 and still no luck. Any ideas? BTW, anyone el

I had another issue (autohide bar creeping up the screen during the day) and opened a ticket at https://www.stardock.helpserve.com . They were prompt and ticket tracking history is very nice. Instead of being a keyboard or mouse actuator issue, my problem turned out to be a bug and it's been given to the developer. In addition to what Zubaz recommended, I'd recommend the helpserve site as well.

If you happened to have "Auto archive on update" checked, you should just be able to restore the archive. You are correct that 1.65 is not listed with OD anymore. That's funny about email support, I've had good response from them. You may also wish to open a help ticket at https://www.stardock.helpserve.com/

I just tried to duplicate, but I am unable to. I run opposite you (Primary on right). I dragged a bar to the secondary monitor and everything still works fine with it. I also run a second quicklaunch bar on my secondary monitor all the time and it works fine too. Does this happen with other themes?

If the skin being used has a title font defined it'll turn the title on. If not, it'll turn it off. Bingo! I opened the .obskin file for the bar in question, removed the "TitleFont" attribute, reloaded OB and the title went away. Problem solved. Thank you. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/sd_com/smiles/Congrats.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
