WB is fantastic. It's phenomenal. I have it at home on my laptop and it's a beautiful thing. I hate going to work and using that PC, it's boring. So, when can we expect to see a Palm OS product? Buck

I know what you mean, RN. You can try the newsgroups, I've gotten much better responses there. Although, you seem to have received some good help here today. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIG

Um... You are the same person that said, "did you really have to ask". And like Sherri says, she feels bad asking. I do understand your point of view... I'm a software developer myself and often have to tell users to RTFS! (Well, in a nicer manner obviously.) I went to the newsgroups on c242's suggestion. Seems to be better for getting the hard questions answered, especially if it appears to be a bug. As c242 said, "Stardock developers don't hang out here very often." My first tho

There are a number of problems I've discussed right on this board, for one. And since these are the boards that come up with SC, why would I think I would have to go find a newsgroup? Also, I've sent in issues with the products via email and have been completely ignored. Read on in other threads, I'm not the only one. Great products, but seriously lacking in customer support. <img src="http

I wouldn't hold your breath. I sent off a support request email about a month ago regarding WB. Stated how I couldn't get it to run anymore after the last update. Got nothing. Had to wade through it myself. Finally got it to work but then it can't be called from SC anymore, that's for sure. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBr

Clarence95 is the name I used here first but now I can't or it doesn't recognize I'm a stardock customer. (Any way I can get that changed by the way?) Clarence is Christian Slater's character from the movie "True Romance"... my wife usually goes by Alabama. The 95 is just the first year I used the screen name. It kind of stuck and I've been using it ever since. Buck3000 is because Buck is my nickname. Anyway I can get rid of the Buck3000 nickname and assign my Stardock em

Is this the right forum to report these problems? The Wincustomize browser is not in synch with the site and requires a full library refresh to get there (and then I'm not sure that even works). Is this the way it is supposed to be? (Not sure why one signs up for a subscription then.) Here's what I have as an example. The bootskins on Wincustomize.com show the following: 1. Aston Martin 2. Evil Edition II 3. Inferno 4. Garfield II 5. Sea Torus 6. Si

I spent a few days really customizing the GT2 ObjectBar, basically just adding/change pop-up menus and menu options. Now I'm wondering what will happen if I apply a new suite with an ObjectBar skin? Will I lose all of the menus I set up? If so, does anybody have any procedures they use to restore the menus to the new theme? Thanks, Buck <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images

But when I said yes, and Stardock Central opened, it didn't know about the available update. I even clicked the "check for application updates" menu option and it still wasn't aware of any software updates. WinCustomize tray shows up under software as 1.00 installed and ---- as available. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBrows

1. It seems to have been installed in C:/Program File/Stardock/Wincustomize/SkinBrowser 2. The files mentioned were in the subdirectory Data 3. Deleted, closed tray and browser, started them up again... nothing, no updates. Browser library is behind the site and behind the tray. Then logged off and on and still nothing. 4. Tray was installed in C:/Program File/Stardock/Wincustomize/Tray. There is another set of .ini files in the subdirectory Data there as well. 5. Also tried "

I don't even see the new skins in the individual sections. I have the WC tray going and it tells me there are new skins, I can preview them from the tray icon, but they don't show up in the browser. I have to "refresh skins database" to see the new/updated skins. I thought it was me. So is this a bug? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Po

Just so you know, the tray was not automatically installed with the browser. I recall now that there was an error message during installation about the registration being expired, but since the browser loaded, I didn't give it another thought. Until now that is. But I found it in the subscriber resources section. Thanks! Buck <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.

Included with the subscription are two items I am not sure how to go about getting: (1) The WinCustomize System Tray Applet that will update you when new skins, themes, etc. show up. I don't see where to turn this on. I have object desktop and use the component tray, is it the same thing? (2) Two Premium WinCustomize skin suites. Where are the premium skin suites that I can choose from? Buck [Message Edited]
