I believe Frogboy already answered your question. https://forums.stardock.com/502919/get;3820246 Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
Not that I can see. He's been totally silent. Many people are asking when is it coming out? Was it a typo? He still hasn't answered yet. Perhaps he's been busy. Pe

I just can't believe that no one from stardock can give an approximate date on when we can expect window blinds 11? I don't pretend to understand it and I personally think it's rude that the company won't even give a approximate date. As a paying customer I feel like I'm on the proverbial "double secret probation."

Outstanding amount of, "Fixes" on Stardock's part. I consider myself lucky most of these errors I have not encountered. However not many new options. Hopefully more will come as it gets closer to final release.
We are putting together the schedule to make WindowBlinds 11. Customization is a lot harder now than it used to be. Microsoft, for reasons unknown, has actively encouraged developers to take care of their own client and even non client (border, frame) painting rather than using standard Windows controls. Microsoft's baffling decision to throw away trying to provide a standard set of in-app controls for developers and instea

Thanks I could probably do it through a texture. I'm really hoping to be able to disable blur in the start menu with one of the updates. That way I can make it a true transparency like we can do with the taskbar.

Another suggestion instead of having a on off switch for Blur have a slider like you do with the transparency. That way you can adjust level of Blur to your own style

I'm using start11 and curtains since I've never used curtains before I'm not sure if it's working right or not it does apply a glass effect to the title bar on any program that I open except for Explorer. It was working for Explorer and I was playing around with it and somehow I got the ribbon when I deleted the ribbon through the registry files Explorer no longer has a glass effect.
Quoting JohnR3184, reply 3 I also would like having the same transparency as the task bar. I've always loved the aero glass look that was in Windows 7. What do you mea

Well my friend you had answered so we were bantering back and forth. I had assumed you knew more, I was wrong so my apologies. Yes I am new here and I am new to skinning for the most part the changes I've done to Windows were to the registry to make Windows do what I wanted to do. I'm not new to computers nor the Angst of Microsoft. As you are aware of, computers there is always been so called, "power users" I upgraded from Windows 3.1 to 3.11 for work groups I didn't need it but I want

So does that mean you cannot give a definitive date? Not even a close proximity of a quarter? You need a cushion of 365 days! 😏 As far as Microsoft not changing anything statistically speaking by the time Windows reaches a public beta the UI is done. Even with Windows 7 one of the best received version of Windows it was Zero changes in the u i in the public beta. Peace
Quoting Jafo, reply 208 I might try Win 11 sometime after 2030. Most bugs will be sorted by then....[e digicons];)[/e] 2030 lol! Seriously, my plan is to wait until Windows 10 is no longer supported ( I believe 2025 )

Yeah I got to admit I miss that. With that being said, saying in 2022 is political ambiguity. I expect politicians to talk like that. It could be in 2 months or over a year that's a lot of leeway my friend. 😏 I believe most people posting here would rather have a little more definitive time frame 1st quarter 2nd quarter excetera. Peace
I have already said that 2022 is more likely than 2021. 2023 is clearly a typo unless we all get 2022 off as nothing had that date.
2022 could be in 2 months or could be in over a year, my friend. Just saying in 2022 is Political Ambiguity. I've grown accustomed to politicians talking like that. I was just hoping Stardock would be a little more forthcoming. Peace PS, I also could hav

Not for me I have the task bar transparency almost crystal clear and the start menu is not clear it is blur. I would post a pic but I can't do it for my cell phone. There's no way to drag and drop with Android and the button to search my device does nothing with two different web browser.

Over in the window blinds 11 planning post. A member of stardock said window blinds for Windows 11 will not be out until 2023. Now there are numerous responses asking if this was a typo or not. Perhaps someone from stardock could answer that question. Is there any plan to release window blinds for Windows 11 before 2023?

3 Replies 10,924 Views

I don't believe it's a typo anymore, otherwise the people who work for stardock on this board would have already said it is. I hope I'm wrong but I believe their silence speaks volumes. They have no intention of releasing window blinds 11 until 2023. I actually purchase the entire Suite so that way I could have window blinds 11 assuming that it would be out right after Windows 11 was released. My idea was there was no sense just paying for start 11 when within a few weeks window blind

Start menu having the same transparency as the task bar. (Right now it's blur) Options to change the Fonts also perhaps bold and italics options also. I like it so far I've only been using it a few minutes but I'm not having any issues yet I'll report them to the proper place. Great Job to all involved.
Right now the schedule is: Start11 (next weekish) Fences 4 (October) DeskScapes 11 (Fall) Groupy 2.0 (Fall) WindowBlinds 11 (2023) SkinStudio

670 Replies 2,451,051 Views

I do hope 2023 is a typo. To be honest if it is 2023 then why did you even start this thread? You had to know when this thread was started. Stardock you should have been upfront and honest and say the schedule.
