I just think everyone should continue to use Windows 10 and Windowblinds 10 until Windowblinds 11 is released by Stardock. But if you want to use Windows 11, just use Start 11 for now if you're happy with that. I personally don't thin hacking things in your system using software no one has ever heard about before is not a good idea.
Actually I'm the opposite. I enjoy making things work even when they aren't supposed t
That screenshot shows windows with no frames, or should I say transparent frames. That skin shouldn't be that way. I don't call that working.
Transparent frames, Funny thing is that is one thing I will be implementing when windowblinds 11 makes it's debut. To each their own. Peace.
"My current subscription runs until 7/20/25" Your subscription will probably last longer than Windows 11.
As a side note. It's ironically funny for me, I just want to make windows 11 look and feel like windows 7. I know I'm not very creative. I see some of these screenshots that the people here do with window blinds and it is amazing. It's really an art form. For me right now anyway I don't want to get any more artistic then window 7. But I look at what people do here and I can compare Windows 7 is like 3 dogs playing cards as art compared to the DaVinci's Mona Lisa. Yes they are both
I tried to installed the blinds 10 on Windows 11. It's not compatible but it basically does what I wanted to do make the command bar aero glass. My problem with it is it then messes with Start11 and override it. Is there anyway to disable window blinds 10 from changing the start bar?
I downloaded Windows 11. Installed it. Found out it hates my onboard video card. All the app icons in the taskbar are grainy and blurry and the system does not show a true black anywhere. HP isn't releasing a video driver for my 6 month old machine for Windows 11 so I went back to Windows 10. Besides, the setting app is a nightmare compared to Windows 10.
I would suggest going to the chip manufacturer for a driver.
My name here is J Curie, the J is for my first name James. Curie is omague to Marie Curie whom I respected as with all people of great intellect. Another name I've used elsewhere was 1921photo or 1921photoelectric for Einstein's Nobel Prize. So what's your in name? Peace

Bradsams, thanks for the info. You can add me to the user list that would enjoy working with Stardock with either nightly build /alpha or beta of windowsblinds 11. I can't speak for every one obviously but I would have preferred Stardock to have concentrated on window blinds 11 first then release start 11 and fences and others. Just my thoughts. But that's in the past so I am just looking forward to seeing windowblinds 11.

Windows 11 is not that much different than windows 7. Lots of similarities especially in the UI. Obviously no aero glass if and when Windows blinds comes out I could easily see a proverbial clone Windows 7. I would not be using 11 of one of my engineering programs didn't require either Windows 10 or 11. Since I've never used 10 other than in work. It only makes sense to update to 11 if that's the new version and if I have to adapt to it there is no sense in going to 10 and only to have to ada
Option to disable balloon tips. One of my programs has tool bars on the bottom and sometimes the blonde tips come up and cover the toolbar and I can't use the toolbar. There use to be a way to do it in windows registry but it doesn't seem to work with start 11.
Wickedly cool taskbar.
I can't remember when I first tried Windowblinds. I really never was into skinning Windows. Don't get me wrong. I always thought it was cool and very imaginative. For years I was a so called, "Power User" so I was always tearing down or getting rid of any unnecessary resources that slowed down my system. Kind of like a gear head for windows. If I could just get a few more ticks on the speedometer or tach I was happy. It was why I went from Windows 3.1 to 3.11 for work groups. Wind

"development was needed elsewhere so this was pushed back." So basically it's a financial situation or choice. Stardock instead of putting resources into windowblinds 11 development it was put elsewhere. My personal opinion was that was a poor choice especially because you have Start 11.
No, nothing 'needs' to be said. GUI customizing software has always taken longer to adapt to a new OS because it integrates with that OS, whereas something simplistic [relatively] like Photoshop generally doesn't care what OS it's being used with. A VERY GOOD example. I use PaintShop Pro 6, and have for a very long time because I am used to using it specifically. I have it installed on WinXP without issue.<b
Why is it that the 'newest' members of the community are also the most impatient? Do either of you fully understand what's involved in integrating a program directly within an OS Shell, particularly in an OS shall that is not yet Gold? Just because the 2019 WB 11 wishlist thread predates your involvement with Stardock's products does NOT mean nothing is happening...or that it's "the death of windows customization".<br
