Update 1. The pinning issue is only happening on windows 10 / 11 themes 2. Pinning appears to behave normal and as it was intended to if pinned through start 11 search 3. Pinning issues arise when trying to pin apps outside of Windows 11 search program such as desktop shortcuts (This is my preferred pinning option). On windows 11 theme the new pinned icon replaces the old first icon altogether using this option. 4. Folders do not even have an option to pin to s

" 1) After creating a new page, pins still go into the beginning of page 1 offsetting the rest by one tile" I am also having an issue with #1. I am using the windows 11 theme and with me it is actually making the very first pin disappear altogether making me have to re-pin whatever was in the first spot. (This issue seems to have started once I figured out how to pin folders into the windows 11 theme throu

First off I love this update. I have been a windows insider for windows 11 in the dev preview since it first dropped and it really looks like you guys are in touch with what people are asking for. The top complaints were 1. Windows 10 start menu is better. 2. Not being able to move the task bar. and 3 people really disliked the recommendations being forced in the start menu and wanted an alternative. The update nails a lot of complaints. I think a lot of people will download this program for

Start11 does have big improvments over start10 imo. The biggest downfall I think is that the best features are not being advertised in their screen shots. The menu doesnt take off until you enable the tiles split into columns feature which then makes the whole start menu look like it belongs on Windows 11 because it gives off the look of pinned apps on the start menu like windows 10 and 11 along with access to folders like windows 10. I think there are a lot of people that are expecting that

I have also noticed this problem as well. There is a slight delay in animations with start 11 when using the current "beta" channel build but the animations run more smoothly with the current "dev" channel build. No clue why and I figured this is most likely an issue on MS's side. I prefer the current dev build so it isnt an issue for me. But I have noticed it... I would recommend using the dev build though as it is a lot more stable then they are advertising and it fix's the slow animation.<

The topic here does in fact point to one of the biggest issues from windows 11 and what I believe will become a generational challenge. Microsoft thinks the fix is their silly recomendations that is attached to their start menu, but user feedback seems pretty negative on that. With Microsoft really trying to push their store and with android app compatability around the corner my guess is this issue will get more wide spread. I do hope the developers here see this issue for what it is althoug

First off, there is no possible way stardock ignores their customers to the extent microsoft does. I posted rants on the insider program until I was blue in the face for spewing issues I had with their start menu. In fact I am almost willing to bet the people here at stardock were listening and reading those rants more then the actual developers at microsoft and it shows in how they implemented start 11. Seccond and to the issue at hand.. Personally, I have not run into the many icon

I am running windows 11 version 22000.120 and start 11 overall feels stable except there is an occasional delay in some of the changes when customizing the look. Sometimes things like changing the number of rows or resizing the icons does not show until the pc is restarted or after a certain amount of time pass before the changes register to the start

The show tiles split into columns option is by far one of the best features on start 11 in my opinion... But the tile spacing feels just a tad bit off to me and could use some adjusting. The rows feel a bit too close together and the columns feel a bit too far apart. From my experiences so far this is more an issue when using normal sized icons as opposed to using large sized icons. The large sized icons feel more natural with the spacing, but the normal sized icons do not
