Wow, I did all the work to edit just to end up with white borders around the buttons. I was very careful to change nothing but the colors of what was already there. I didn't resize, didn't save as a different file type. Nope. Of course it didn't work. What an absolute nightmare just trying to do a simple thing with this program.

See the linked image. I want to change the color of these.
Okay, so I set it to "stretch middle section", saved it then applied it, but nothing changed. The taskbar/title bars still look the same with tiling. I tried to create the texture from scratch in Skinstudio but it opened up the default taskbar in MS Paint for me to edit, and I don't want to actually alter the default.
I'm using the "modify style" in WB on Windows 10. (Though I do have Skinstudio if I need to do it through there)
So, I have some images that are much wider than my resolution (1920 x 1080). I want to use them as textures but I want the entire taskbar/title bar to be a continuous stretch from within the image, no tiling or repeating. But no matter what I try to do, it seems impossible. If "create tiling texture" is on, there's always a point in the taskbar where the image is tiled, and if it's off, there's always a point where the image repeats. It doesn't matter how big the image
Okay, so changing from "light" to "dark" actually worked, thanks.
Ah okay. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work.
I want to change the color of the black icons (internet, volume, notifications) as seen in the link, as well as the search/magnifying glass icon by the start menu (not pictured). Is there a way to do that?
Okay, thank you. I will wait for 11 to come out. Just wanted to make sure something was in the works.
I just got a new comp with Windows 11 and re-downloaded Windowblinds, but I have issues when applying themes. The taskbar doesn't like to skin and I've noticed some other issues. Are there any work-arounds?
Perfect, thank you!
I also cannot seem to find Skinstudio. It says on the site that it comes with Windowblinds but I can't find it anywhere.
Sure. Here is the link: https://i.lensdump.com/i/ZylA7v.png The screenshot is for Firefox, however everything else has the same, black/red font in the titlebar (file explorer, notepad, snipping tool, etc.).
The date, time, and title bars are currently black and don't stand out well against the background. I'd like to make them white. Any way to do this? I found the "change system colors" options but am not sure which, if any, correspond to these elements. Thanks.
Okay, the issue started again for me today. I thought maybe it auto-updated before and was fixed, but maybe the issue just comes and goes.
I've noticed today that the problem is resolved on my PC. Thanks!
I got a recent update to WindowBlinds - not sure if that's what's causing the issue - but for the last couple days Firefox won't skin correctly. The title bar is grey and glitched (see image). Any suggestions?
Oh wow, just re-downloaded and it's working great now. Thanks so much!
It seems to be only on the plastic fantastic skin
Nope, just installed the new Win version and noticed the same glitches right away
Cool, just noticed I have the option to update Win version, will do
I have Windows 10 Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.1256), Windowblinds 10.84 (059 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 Bit OS, and I've only noticed it on the "Plastic Fantastic" skin, though it's really the only skin I've used for more than a minute
See the picture here. When I hover over the icons, the glitched parts usually disappear. But they come back soon and are there more often than not. Is there any way to prevent them?
Ahh, I knew about the title bar but not the other part. It works now, thank you!
I've seen older posts (2016 and previous) about this but am wondering if this has been figured out since then. Firefox won't skin (V 84.0.2)
