A standard registry entry for an icon managed on Fences looks like this: "C:\\Users\\Fabio\\Desktop\\WhatsApp.lnk"="4|1407|1302|27|1256|0|0|0||15|0|0|Explorer.EXE|0|2094580992|30927223" These pipe separated values obviously are various parameters associated to each icon, I have discovered that the 9th value (15 in my example) is the click count that Fences uses to sort the most used ones. Knowing better how these values work would allow users to i

There could be plenty of exceptions.
We mentioned we use neither. We were discussing Precision drivers, which are the modern Windows standard.
Is that the case with Folder Portals too or do they work without the need to do anything special?
Does it indeed work if you do click in the Fence first? Do the scrollbars for a Fence appear in any circumstance? Sean Drohan Stardock Support Manager
The scrollbars are always displayed and they do enlarge if I run the pointer over the actual bar, but the scroll still won't work. Nor it will if I click on the fence. However, if I trigger a scrolling motion somewhere else, e. g. by scrolling on m
Well, I actually found out with some testing: the first value is the group the icon belongs to, the tenth value is the click count. Edit: the above is true if the preceding value involves "DISPLAY1". I then edited the xml with a simple RegEx to reset everything to 1:
(\|\\\\\.\\DISPLAY1`?\|)\d+(\|)
to
\11\2
For some reason, I'm having a weird behavior with "sort fence by number of opened times". I'd like to reset all of them, but without losing the rest of my setup. I believe it's very likely that these are stored on the registry and on the snapshot XML files, under . The thing is I don't know how to interpret those numbers e.g.
C:\Users\Public\Desktop\Google Chrome
Thank you for the quick reply, About the ETA, I don't even need it to be accurate at all. But it's been 2 years since the last update and it would be nice to know if there's 2 more ahead... Or if it's just several months or weeks... A very rough estimate like this would be more than enough, if you can.
Does Fences use any crowd-sourced translation tools? I'd be very interested in manually translating strings to pt-BR simply for the sake of improving my own experience with Fences. There are many tools like this available, but I'd even be interested in receiving a file with a set of strings and working on it.
This question is very relevant right now, as I'm using a trial version while keeping an eye on the Steam sale. I can see that there's a wishlist post with very recent replies, but even that has been posted on 2018. Even the last minor update seem to have happened a very long time ago with very big bugs, such as lack of support for precision touchpads, being around for even longer.
