When the Enhanced Taskbar is turned on, the Widget on the far left disappears, and I use that for my weather-at-a-glance and other things to look at.

OK, I was just playing with settings, and when I turn off "Position the start button in the center of the taskbar", the Win+X menu works perfectly. Of course, I would rather have this turned on.
OK, I just installed the 2.55 beta. And there's no improvement.
Is that without using the Enhanced Taskbar? I don't use that.
Update: In v2.5.3, the Win+X menu doesn't work at all. No entries get highlighted as my mouse moves over it, and no entry is clickable. This may have been true with a previous release, but I'm now just getting around to report it, due to being very busy with other things.
This beta resolves the issue I saw about the hidden icon menu not displaying with a top-aligned, non-enhanced taskbar. Thanks for the fix! However, the issue I saw in the Win+X menu where the mouse cursor doesn't track with selections, also with a top-aligned, non-enhanced taskbar, is still there.
Build in "hidden icon menu" is not wokring. There is nothing behind if you want temporary unhide hidden icons in the systray. If you disable this in Windows settings menu they also not comming, so all the items which are hidden behind the system "Hidden icon menu" are not available. i did a cross check, downgrade to non Beta and the functionality is restored. So the issue is from the Beta.
I have found this issue
Thank you for your patience with me as well. I should have followed up sooner with more info.
I just found a more serious issue. When my taskbar is top-aligned, the hidden icon menu for the system tray won't display. I click the "^" and it just flips upside down, with no menu of hidden icons displayed. When I change my taskbar to align to the bottom, the hidden icon menu displays as expected. I'm using v2.49.2 with Windows 11 Home 24H2 Build 26
OK, when I switched to using the Enhanced Taskbar and center-aligned it again, now the cursor tracks in the Win+X menu normally. I now need to remember why I wasn't using the Enhanced one before. :)
I am using Windows 11 Home.
OK, here's a link to the video on Google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1312OD_cp5OOGtwbcxVI3B6tTwx9y3LlH/view?usp=sharing
OK, I have found a way to alleviate this problem temporarily, but it means turning off "Position the start button in the center of the taskbar". When off, the cursor tracks with the selections correctly. When turned back on, it goes back to being two entries off. I made a short video to attach, but I can't see how to add it.
I've already installed the beta, which didn't fix it. So I uninstalled that, and went back to 2.11, installing that again. No improvement. Maybe there's a Start11 setting which makes this happen.

I just realized there was some aspect I failed to mention when I reported. My taskbar is aligned to the top. That may make a difference in reproducing.
I just installed the v2.5 beta. It has fixed an issue I recently noticed where I didn't have a context menu for taskbar items when I right-clicked on them. However, this minor issue I reported in July is still there: https://forums.stardock.com/529090/page/1/ My current Windows version is Windows 11 Home 24H2 Build 26100.2605
This peek feature isn't a new feature, and what we're experiencing is a flat-out bug. I purchased Fences 4 with the expectation that it would fulfill its features while running on Windows 11, as it was promoted as working on Windows 11. While I would be delighted to upgrade for new features I needed at some point, I will not be upgrading for the sake of a bug fix.
I have the same question, is version 4.22 compatible with 24H2??
For me, it works completely except for "Show Fences" (press & hold, or toggle). The fences won't display above app windows.
Right click on the # or any other letter heading and uncheck "Show suggested apps."
Oh, thanks. I wonder what "Suggested" means, though. In this case, it was an app I already had installed. So I don't know what is being suggested.
I don't know if this is a bug or is intentional, but when I upgraded from Start11 1.5 to 2.08, I noticed a "Suggested" app at the top of my Windows 10 style Start Menu (above "All apps"). And there doesn't appear to be a way to not show it. This is separate from "Recently installed" apps, which I have disabled via Start Menu options. My Windows version is Windows 11 Home 24H2 Build 26100.1150. Also, thank you for "Settings backup" - that's what spurred me to upgrade more
When I right-click on the Start button per "Show Win+X menu when right clicking...", my mouse pointer displays two entries above the one that's highlighted and selectable. For example, if I want to go to Device Manager, I have to move my mouse pointer up two selections to Event Viewer and click. This happened in Start11 1.5 and continues to happen after I upgraded to Start11 2.08. My Windows version is Windows 11 Home 24H2 Build 26100.1150. This problem doesn't appear in Windows 10. T
The announced features for Fences 5 aren't enough for me to upgrade, but was there by chance some minor changes to the functionality? Sometimes a minor functional change is enough to sway me. I saw that support for multiple monitors/resolutions is being done, but I don't really need that either. Any interesting tweaks from 4 to 5?
