Like in v1.24, I've run into a couple minor issues in v1.25 when doing a search in the Start11 Windows 10 style or Windows 11 style start menu. These don't occur with the regular start menu (Start11's start menu turned off). Here is a video that demonstrates both issues below in the Start11 Windows 10 style start menu on
I was able to reproduce this - if this is indeed what you are referring to:
Yes, that is what's happening on my systems. Thank you for looking into a fix.
When I go to configure Fences 4.0.5.21, the configuration window loads into the upper left corner of my screen, partially *under* my top-positioned Start11 taskbar. This happens on both Windows 10 and 11. It used to load in the usual unfixed way new windows load, somewhere in the middle of the screen.
I've run into a couple minor issues when doing a search in the Start11 v1.24 Windows 10 style or Windows 11 style start menu. These don't occur with the regular start menu (Start11's start menu turned off). 1) On my Windows 11 laptop only, after clicking the Start button, and typing the characters of my search, the cursor doesn't catch up with the end of the text I'm typing. It lags further and further behind. I'll be happy to make a movie of this if that would help visualize what I'm
Right-click on Start icon is working fine on both my Win 10 and Win 11 laptops. And thank you Sean for addressing the installation issue.

OK, I finally just figured out how to remove it. I installed Power Automate from the Microsoft Store - this installed into the phantom link, which made the link now launch the app. So I then uninstalled the app. Then I rebooted. Now the link is gone altogether. This surprised me as I had tried to install the desktop version of the app and that didn't help at an earlier point. The key is installing the Microsoft Store version. Maybe this will assist others running in
At this point, I'm thinking the only option I have is to uninstall Start11, obliterate its data, and reinstall. There doesn't seem to be a way to export settings, so I guess I'll have to write down what I've set and set it all up manually again.
This didn't work either. At this point, I honestly don't know whether Windows 11 or Start11 is causing the issue. Even though Windows 11 without Start11 installed doesn't sh

Note: This is an app that's not currently installed. When I click the phantom link, I get the error "Windows cannot find '|!Microsoft.PowerAutomateDesktop_8wekyb3d8bbwe!PAD.Console'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
Read reply #3
I did read that. Thank you. But again, that was one of the first things I tried, and it didn't work.
I'm using Start11 v1.2 and uninstalling was one of the first things I tried, and it didn't work.
By the way, I'm using Start11 version 1.2 on Windows 11 Home 21H2 Build 22000.651.
I'm seeing a phantom link to "Power Automate" in my Start11 start menu set to the Windows 10 style. The Power Automate app isn't installed on the PC. It appears that this is a phantom within Start11, as when I uninstalled Start11, this phantom didn't appear in the regular Win11 start menu, and after re-installing Start11, it's back. Also, within Start11, I switched to the Windows 7 style menu, and the phantom isn't there, and then switched back to Windows 10 style, and it's there again. Howev
I asked for this on the previous v4 wish list but since it didn't make it into v4, I'm making into a standalone feature request, with more detail about why I think it would be useful. I'd like to see the "Group by" functionality in Windows 10/11 folders be replicated in Fences 4 folder portals, especially "Group by Date modified". This would be helpful particularly to me with my Downloads folder due to my frequent evaluation and upgrades of apps, where in regular Windows folde
To be able to replace a few FOSS utilities I was using to enhance my taskbar, start menu, etc. on my Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers, I installed Start11 this morning and later upgraded to version 1.2 when it became available. I think it's outstanding, and I thank you for developing it! I can think of a features off the bat that would be nice to have: 7+ Taskbar Tweaker has an option "Remove extra gap between it
I'm new to Fences but I already have an idea for a minor enhancement. I have a folder portal to my Downloads folder, which in Windows 10 I normally view as Details, grouped by date modified. So I have groupings by 'Today', 'Earlier this week', 'Last week', etc. I'd like to have the ability to group this way in the folder portal as well. This kind of grouping works best for me in keeping track of all my downloads.
