Basj: First of all, no one should pay for anything they will then need to manually make do what it's supposed to do. That said, I HAVE done that - ad-nauseum. I have literally spent HOURS upon HOURS trying to tweak this to work, and when I think I'm close, some other icons mess up. It's crazy! And like I said in my opening post, this CANNOT be the only time you hear about this. The promise of what your products do, comes nowhere near the rea

Okay, so I posted more or less the same several months ago when I purchased Icon Packager. As I customize and add icons, my other icons move around or become displaced. It's ridiculous! I had it to where it was almost okay, then I updated to add SoundPackager which I wound up deleting, and my folder icons reverted to default ... SO, I clicked on the package I'm using. Not only did the color become much redder (I am using a red hue) but the frickin' icons went all bizar

Thanks. I think it has something to do with the laptop I first installed it on, because I just installed it on one of my other systems and it works. If you can help me figure it out so I can use it on the one I bought it for, I'd appreciate it. 1). Not working on: (Not sure what info. you need and could not get any data from winver, so I am throwing everything out here). <table class="MsoNormalTable" style

Purchased this about an hour ago. The ONLY Sound Package which shows up is the Default Microsoft one under "Local", DESPITE having both downloaded and (right-click) installed some other packages from WinCustomize AND despite downloading and "applying" (installing) package under Online. How/where do I pick my packages in order to see them and more so, hear them?

Colors are beautiful. Very nicely done ... if just a little too mellow for my tastes. The turtle needs a mohawked-shark chasing it, and the one with the hot air balloon should have a fiery unicorn with a girl shooting arrows from its back ... :D. Seriously though, for nature-inspired Wallpapers, yours are top-notch.
Hello, Not really sure how, but I do think it is possible. Looking at this Basj, Stardock Community Assistant.
Thanks, Basj! Yes, I see the Control Panel drop-down option, but it only allows for changing that "Devices and Printers" Icon and not the icons which are inside or viewable by clicking Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers. <img
Spencer, any idea where to get AniUtil? The link doesn't work.
Pretty sure it comes as part of, or with, CursorFX.
Cursor theme tutorial. https://forums.wincustomize.com/447934
Thank you. This is actually the tutorial I used to create a couple of cute themes. I'd just like to get them to work/animate and don't understand how to even after going through it several times.

Thanks all. I had AniUtil (but can't find it now so I think I deleted it), and got far enough where I created a couple of different "strips". I then tried using those strips by basically replacing an (animated) icon in an existing package, but it didn't work. There was only a thin vertical line of animation when tested. I then remembered seeing a package with a strip like that, opened many until I found it and replaced the 'strip' in the package with my strip ...
CTRL + Shift +C disables CursorFX. If I recall correctly, I used a bitstrip animation for any animations I made. I am not good at animations, so I can't really be much help. I can, however, send you the small animation app I have. PM me your email.
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks! Sending you a message now. I downloaded a bunch of programs since my post though,

Hi! Posted something along the same lines a couple of weeks ago, and kind of just had a reply that offered more correction and up-selling than actual help, along with a link that did not answer my question; and another reply which said my post would be forwarded along to someone else, but never heard anything else about it. My question is: are there any tutorials on how to create a cursor package which covers basic animation? The packaging itself is not an issue, as with

Yes, normally use Imgur for screenshots, but not videos. Will probably opt for the new CursorFX then think about Deskcapes at a later time. Things should be easy, and don't want to pay to give myself a new to-do list item of having to create what I need for it, although learning something new is always nice. Thanks for the links. Just found a Youtube one for making CursorFx cursors. Might start with that.
Sorry, that is not where I am making reference. I know that cursorfx can resize. I am speaking of windows settings affecting the product. The moment the size shifts from 1, and CursorFX is active. The cursor fx cursors especially those that have normal pointer with animation, has a look of it glitching very rapidly. Understood. After leaving a 'garbled' video upload here, I uninstalled my Camtasia on this OS and thought I could move my licensing seat to my new system, but they still haven't replied in order to help me do it, so I'm out of video editing software unless I try to reinstall it on this one again, but this reminds me to message them again. Thought screensavers would be simple/safe enough. Ooops. Attached are screenshots. They're super simple; or at

Ello. I would very much like to purchase Deskcapes - I tried a trial version for a couple of days a few weeks back, but did not see a lot of content for it then. In downloading more cursors for my CursorFX though, I see more Deskcapes content added daily although not sure if I can try the trial again since I uninstalled the first. Anyway, my questions are: 1. If I do buy it, are there tutorials you can point me to for making my own Deskcape Dreams? I make con

Hi Ace! Gave up on it a while back, but pretty certain I tried both ways. I know I remember trying to save the package as a new one too, both before and after hitting Apply (saw the value in both and was trying everything at that point). Not sure how many seats my one payment is/was valid for, but also put it on another laptop and have not tested it yet to see if it's just the first laptop that's wonky, or if it was my icons or what. I kind of grew t
The numbering sequence is not something that you can do manually yourself, it's done automatically by the IconPackager program depending on how many icons eventually end up in that particular package. If you add or subtract an icon to a package, you must re-save that entire package or save it as a new package with a different name.... the iconpackager program will handle the number sequence automatically.<b

Sorry for these walls of text! Haha. When getting this to work had failed a few times, I downloaded IconDeveloper, but then uninstalled it. I can't remember why. Will give it another try. As for: "You CAN NOT just add an icon to a COMPLETED iconpackager folder ...", good point

Hi Ace, Thanks for your response! I thought I noticed that IP renamed and numbered the icons as they are added and then created a copy in the Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\IconPackager folder (under the name one gives to the new or saved package). Again, I think I noticed that, but it was late and I had been at it for a while so I might be wrong. Upon seeing that, though, and not seeing another solution, I did exactly as you have described, and actuall

Ello. One more thing ... I thought I had read that icons needed to be 256x256, but the package which I have been working off of in order to keep 5 of its folders (icons) - I just saw are mostly all 24x24 icons. Would this be causing the problem? I doubt it is, as I am pretty sure I started with another couple of themes before I tried with this one. What are the chances they too were smaller (I've deleted almost all packages now). I guess I can try with one
