@basj I use Shell by Nilesoft, but I tried uninstalling that and the issue still occurs. I also use Start11, but the issue occurred before I started using Start11. I'm honestly at a loss as to what is causing this, is this a bug? I am making do by using it non-maximised for now, but I would like to be able to use it maximised.

@basj @Neil Banfield This issue has been occurring for months, I recently replaced my laptop and the issue occurs before and after the replacement. Happened after a fresh install as well. Here is the issue when file explorer is maximised. You can see through the tabs (note the Phone Link window open in the background) and click through them too (on the part where there is supposed to be a bar painted) to get to Phone Link. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/70/15
I'm not sure, how can I check? They should be the default size / same size since I didn't do anything to modify the default behaviour. Compare it with Start11 and you can see the Start11 icons are shrunken down.
Hi Basj, 1) Windows Version: 2) Groupy Version: 2.12 3) Resolution: occurs on 1440p (2560 x 1440) (scale factor 125% and 150%) and 4k (3840 x 2160) (scale factor 225%) Occurs on both HDR on or off
this is how it looks on the default start menu
Can Start11 replicate the same behaviour? The icons look fine on the default start menu.
If you install AutoHotkey v2 ( https://www.autohotkey.com/ ) it should install AutoHotkey Dash
This is a picture of file explorer open maximised. I took a picture instead of a screenshot as it wouldn't show properly on screenshots for some reason. I have removed parts of the picture for privacy reasons. Notice how the tabs in file explorer don't have a background painted and I am able to see through to the next window, which hinders my abil
On the default Windows 11 start menu, when you right click an application installed in Windows through the Microsoft Store or preinstalled, there is an "App settings" option This is missing in Start11, please add it back for convenience.
This are some apps in the all apps section of my start menu. AppNotifier is an android app installed through Windows Subsystem for Android. Auto Dark Mode and AutoHotkey Dash are windows apps / exes. On the default Windows 11 start menu all of these apps show the full image. On Start11 only Auto Dark Mode shows the full image.
