Thanks PhoenixRising1 for pointing this out! I've read through this a few times and it sounds like what you are saying is correct: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1496285185/What+is+an+Object+Desktop+%26+Subscription+Software I'll give it a shot! Thanks SD in advance if this works :)

hmm, bummer. I wonder how much SD makes with people choosing to do subscription versus those of us who just want to pop in every few years and buy a license update (to get the latest versions, perpetually again). For example, I bought the Object Desktop bundle a few years ago, and now want to upgrade them to the latest. I see I can renew my subscription (which was a "classic subscription", where I got to keep the licenses perpetually) but the renewed subscription would appear to be a
Does your installation file say the same File Version as mine does? (if you right-click on the installer, which I found in my Downloads folder, and click on Properties)
Just as a follow-up, I did not need to allow anything else after the install was finished. Controlled Folder Access only caused issues on the SoundPackager installer, not the app itself.
Blessed Windows 10 for not making any notifications of what was going on. I found the SoundPackager 10_9.9_beta.exe in my downloads folder and manually tried installing. It failed, but actually gave a better notification (Could not create a folder). I remember this happening when I first installed some other of your programs. Went into Windows Virus settings, History, and saw that they were quietly blocking your installer. So I 'allowed' and tried again. Same error. Every time
I just enabled 'beta' downloads and tried installing SoundPackager 10. After downloading, it pops up a message in ObjectDesktop that says: SoundPackager 10 - Problem: Code 121 Any idea how to get past this? I closed ObjectDesktop and reopened it administratively, and tried installing again. Thanks!
Ah hah! You're a genius Basj! I was expecting the windows to update as I slid. Not until I clicked on each window (to make them active) and then clicked away again (to make them inactive) did they update to the new value. Thanks!
Just bought WindowFX6, installed it, and have been trying to use it. For the most part it works fine, except for the following: - Enable "Make inactive windows semi transparent" --- My inactive windows successfully become semi transparent (a bit too transparent) - Drag slider to increase/decrease transparency --- Result: Nothing. Expected result: Sliding the slider would change how transparent the other windows are. <
