To me it almost sounds like a hard drive problem. Specifically if you can't get past the lenovo screen. Did the harddrive come loose or die on you? Otherwise it could be a corrupted version of Windows itself. Fences is an explorer.exe extension. I believe it loads up a short time after explorer does itself. If it were the culprit I would expect either explorer wouldn't load or it would crash after a full boot up and log in<br

What version and build of Windows are you running? Are you using the DeskScapes Beta 11.01.0?
I doubt seriously that this issue is caused by Stardock software. Something unrelated might have happened when Fences was trying to load and caused the Error messages to pop up. This could be caused by so many different things, that without more information it is difficult to try and help you.
Yes. You will need to deactivate it on the old device, and then you will be able to activate it on the new device. Go to your Account downloads to make the Activation changes. Select the 3 dots on the product you want to deactivate. (This example is for Start11 v2.) <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/e543c3ee-58

Are you going from Windows 10 to Windows 10; Windows 10 to Windows 11; or Windows 11 to Windows 11? For your Fences from the old computer to work on the new Computer, all the Desktop shortcuts need to be the same on the new computer. Any Folder Portals need to be in the same location. If the new computer doesn't have the same "User Name," I'm not sure you will be able to migrate without rebuilding your Fences on the new computer. Also, what version of Fences are coming
Gotcha.
Sorry you had that happen. This is not a normal result of installation. It's possible the Fences app got corrupted for some reason. Dis you install Fences before or after the Patch Tuesday update? Were you eventually able to get your computer to boot? Try uninstalling Fences and then restart. Download a fresh Fences installer from your account downloads and install. Make sure to reboot after the install finishes. Also, What version and build of Windows are you running?
I understand what you're saying, but how is the All Apps as a menu better than a scrollable All Apps menu?
If you paid $30, you probably bought the single install permanent license. The multi-device subscription is only $20.

Yes, AI is all the rage now at WinCustomize, however, some of them are actually very good! It would be very difficult to provide an "opt out" feature as all the artists would have to add the appropriate tags to their work. This would be arbitrary and totally at the discretion of the artist, and as so, not very reliable. Stardock could hire someone to "Sensor" the artwork and add tags, but I don't see much chance of that happening. My suggestion would be to only download the wa

If you are doing an in place upgrade you should be fine. When I upgraded, all my Start11 settings transferred seamlessly. Good luck! [e digicons][/e]
Double click might be tricky as single click opens already, but a modifier might be possible.
Just to clarify, I was talking about a pinned folder on the Start menu, not the taskbar. However, I believe this works the same way on pinned folder menus on the taskbar, so a modifier key that works for both would be great. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/51807e6a-54c2-42a4-bc31-c05432dd5fcb.
Not sure. I'm not a gamer, but what does this mean: "Impressed with the keystrokes. 🤣🙄" from I'm still laughing post.
I created a couple of icons and put them on my Start menu so I could see them every time I open my Start menu. [e digicons][/e]
This one great! I love it. Thanks for including it in your post. [e digicons][/e]
