Update: the Windows 11 2h22 update has broken the auto-hide behaviour. Dammit. :-(
Give the leprechauns a kick :-D. I don't know - I expected auto-hide not to work but it did. I'd have been happy just with the taskbar at the top.
I arrived here with the same problem, but eventually found the following worked for me: - Turn off Autohide in Windows 11 Settings - Personalisation - Taskbar - Select and unselect any other option on that page - Return to Start11's Taskbar settings - Set the Taskbar position to Align Bottom - Restart Explorer - Set the Taskbar position to Align Top - Restart Explorer I now have the taskbar at the to
