And, for what it's worth, I just reinstalled the latest graphics driver and there is no change, things are still fubar. Please help.

Thanks Basj. I've tried that route numerous times, with no success. The native screen resolution isn't even listed in the nVidia Control Panel, nor the native Windows device manager. When I tried to use a 'custom' screen resolution within nVidia CP all of my screens went black and I couldn't recover short of a hard restart. I wish that I'd never have tried to apply a second/unique wallpaper to my secondary monitor. Any and all suggestions/ideas/recommendation
I recently tried, for the first time, to apply a separate deskscape to my secondary monitor. After doing so I immediately noticed that the screen resolution of that monitor wasn't nearly as "crisp" as it should be, nor were the fonts of any of the programs viewed on that screen. Since that time I've not been able to get this resolved. The monitor affected has a native resolution of 2560 x 1600, but Windows is only showing a top option of 1080 x 1920. Nothing I've tri
