laptop was accidently switched to Tablet Mode. that's why both alternative menu programs didn't work. sorry to waste your time alex

I think Microsoft's latest update which brings back their "start menu" is causing this problem. I have other laptops not updated to the latest windows 10 with start10 still working properly. the problem started on the affected laptop after the latest windows update. I think Stardock will need to update Start10 accordingly please pass this on to the programmers

purged and reinstalled, still have same problem. Because problem is the same using the Classic Shell alternative menu I wasn't surprised the purge and reinstall of start10 didn't fix the issue. regards alex

will check windowsversion latest start10 only installed classic shell after start10 problem to see if it happened to another alternative menu, have now uninstalled classic shell. on a laptop. no other monitors. was working perfectly until yesterday

my start 10 menu switches to windows 10 menu. It won't stay on start 10 and desktop. you only see the start 10 with desktop for a second before it switches. the desktop is blank but through file explorer you can see all the things on the desktop. when I click on the start button the start 10 menu comes up but as soon as I exit the menu I get the windows 10 screen I've uninstalled and reinstalled. same is happening with classic shell free menu. windows 10? kaspersky

this has been going on since Groupy was launched. It looks like this forum is a waste of time with no input, response or support from the "Stardock Support Team". I don't think they could give a rat's arse yet Stardock continue to sell this dodgy software.

Basj I loaded Groupy and KUTOOLS for excel on another laptop using no external monitor or scaling changes. Groupy works perfectly. What I did find out is that the first laptop I used has a 4K monitor but the resolution is set to 1920 x 1080. I can't test at 4K as the display becomes tiny. So maybe changing the screen resolution is the problem

i doubt if all the others have KUTOOLS so shouldn't be the cause. Also someone had a similar issue with word i think

the first post re this issue was back in April. The latest version hasn't resolved the problem. Microsoft is not the problem as the jump around only happens when Groupy is running. As it happens intermittently, a video grab would be pretty hard to get. Here's an idea....why doesn't Stardock accept that this is a bug and do a bit of testing with Excel? I have the same problem. It's happened with every release making Groupy unusable. I contacted Stardock directly but they just referred me to this forum. We've wasted our money unless Stardock check these posts and accept the issue's not isolated and fix the problem. I'm using Office365 and Windows 10 too. Hope it's solved soon as I only used it for Excel.
