Sounds like it's something to do with multiple monitors then, I'm only running one (as well as having updated to 398.36), which didn't cause issues for me with Fences. I'd start looking there - check any settings Fences uses with multiple monitors.
I'm using that driver too and Fences didn't break for me, and this is coming from someone who has had all sorts of issues with Stardock stuff lately on Win10. There must be some other issue at play with it breaking for you than just the driver.
Mine is doing the same thing, guess this will be added to the growing list of Stardock software bugs that will never be fixed?
Not really sure what the subscription is for [e digicons]O:)[/e]
I have a couple of threads where issues I reported got "forwarded" to their mythical team, yet the problems still exist in the software half a year later, actually on most of the things I have installed I haven't even seen an update since I first installed software.
It's busted with Windows 10 update. Best to uninstall this pos.
"Support" guy is lying. What he means is he hopes that posting "we're forwarding this to blahblah" will shut you up. Nothing will be done about whatever your issue is and you'll never hear from them again about it, and they hope you'll do the same in return [e digicons]:\[/e]
Launch stopped working. Updated Groupy last night through Object Desktop app, which is only change I made on computer. Windows 10. If I press "launch" on Launch in Object Desktop, it takes me to the start menu where Launch used to sit up till last night, but it isn't there. No idea wtf is going on, any ideas?

Just to be clear - no other software is causing these messages...whitelisting their applications fixes every other bit of software vs Windows 10 Controlled Folder Access...why doesn't your software work like that?

Cheers.
I'm just going to leave that setting OFF so I can carry on my merry way without it happening again. If I'm feeling especially adventurous I might try to troubleshoot for you...no promises though :3 btw I have another question thread open if you feel like bringing your awesome help over to it ---> https://forums.stardock.com/487671/questions-about-win10-defender-controlled-folders-vs-icon-packager-skins
Yes. The folder was in middle of my desktop, the file was inside a fence. I dragged the file from the fence to the folder in middle of desktop. At no time did I go anywhere near any edge of my screen.
I'm seeing a lot of Controlled Folder notifications about Windows core applications getting blocked while apparently trying to modify user settings for an Icon Packager skin. Examples: C:\Windows\System32\PickerHost.exe has been blocked from modifying %userprofile%\Documents\Stardock\IconPackager\Steel Dragon\Steel Dragon\ by Controlled Folder Access. C:\Windows\System32\RuntimeBroker.exe has been blocked from modifying %userprofile%\Documents\Stardock\IconPackager\Steel Dragon\Steel Dr
I didn't drag an icon over to either the left or the right side of my desktop...I opened a folder and dropped a file into that folder...then Fences vanished as above. The folder was in the middle of my desktop. As was my mouse.
Yeah that worked. Why did they spontaneously move to this "other desktop page"? I had no idea I even had another "desktop page" let alone Fences could wander over to it. Please explain what that's all about and why Fences just randomly moved to this other page thingy when I dropped a file into another place?
Moved a file that was in a fence to another location outside of the fence (on another drive) and suddenly Fences along with all the items in them totally vanished, along with the fences themselves (ie blank desktop). Pulled up the Fences config panel, and when I disable Fences my files/icons all come back (obviously with no Fences around them), and enabling Fences causes them to all vanish again (no icons, no fences). Looking at the contents of my desktop show all the items that are there,
