Fences 3.0.9.11 updated but still in Manager

I have been able to update Fences to 3.0.9.11, however, the Object Desktop Manager still shows that Fences needs to update. The update is not being removed after a successful update.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues, tRY UNCHECKING AUTO UPDATES

Best to install new updates from your My Downloads https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

In this case that does not solve the problem. Even though the correct version is installed if you check for updates it says the current installation needs to be updated to the same version. Sloppy work here.

I agree about installing from the download directory. Stardock wants you to reboot unnecessarily for a lot of updates. For example, Start10 only needs the service to be stopped and then the update applied and restart the service, no reboot necessary.

I have the Manager set to check for updates only and not to download. However, turning off the Auto checking doesn't solve the problem. The Manager still isn't reading that the latest update is installed. Or, the latest update has in incorrect, internal version string.

This is the first time I've seen this behaviour from a Stardock update. I agree with Tarkus01, this is sloppy and it's been reported early enough that it should be fixed by now.

Mine is doing the same thing, guess this will be added to the growing list of Stardock software bugs that will never be fixed?

Object Desktop Manager has always been buggy, I don't even have it installed. I go to my StarDock account and download the .exe files and save them in a backup folder so I always have them. The programs themselves tell you when updates are available.

+1 I have the same issue. Fences keeps telling me everyday I need to update it even though I have the latest version.

I do NOT have Object Desktop Manager installed though.

Same here.  Update, reboot.  Check in DM and there it is in the update box like it never happened. x_x

I have tweaked the version checking on the website and this should have stopped happening. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Well, Fences still asks me to update every single day. What's worse it opens it's update window in the middle whatever something I'm doing. Been doing that like a week maybe. I'm not running SD central.
