Yeah, none of that worked, but... Going in and changing the file type from wmv to mp4 or mpg did. And the files were actually wmv in the meta-data. Go figure...

I have dozens of *.wmv files that were my favorites. They show up in the list of 'Installed' animations and I can choose one, but the don't play.used to play. Is there a specific system codec or setting to get them running again?
I want to Add a Folder to the Start11 Menu and then a add shortcut lnk to that folder that points to a standalone executable that had no install routine. There are a lot of useful utilities our there that you just drop in an appropriately named Directory Folder ( Utilities - in this case) that I created in my Programs (x86) or Programs folders.. How can I add a link to one of these program executable? Not Pin it to my Start menu.
