Fences are back but some are still empty

Where do I find [personalization]?

I chose a snapshot that showed all of the fences being present. When I clicked restore it didn't put the old fences back, it removed the one fence that had remained. There were fourteen fences including the one that didn't disappear. Now there are 0 fences.

Suddenly all but one of my fences has disappeared. clicked on one thie morning and they just disappeared. If I double click on desktop, the one remaining fence comes and goes. But where are the others. I spent a long time setting up my fences (over a dozen) and now they are all gone. How do I get them back?

Using Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 and Fences3 (I think). Started the computer this morning and most of the icons are gone from all of my fences. A few fences have an icon or two but most are blank. Can someone help me fix this ? I had many icons sorted and it will be a huge job to fix them one by one. Where did they go? THe new icon fence that receives new desktop icons seems to be OK. Others are not. Thanx

Goty a popup suggesting new multiplicity update. I clicked on download and install. It downloads to 9.95 of 10.02 MB and just hangs there. I tried it several times. How do I get it installed?????

Using multiplicity the sound on the sending computer works for 10-15 seconds and then stops. If I uncheck Enable audio sharing and then re-check it, the sound starts again. But it only goes for a few seconds and then stops again. i can repeat this many times but the sound won't stay on. This makes the system pretty much unuable for many things. How can I fix this?

Do you expect the team to respond at some point? At least to let me know they are working on. At this point multiplicity is unusable. When I try to do something on the secondary computer the mouse stops working on the secondary for minutes at a time. Then it starts again. IT'S UNUSABLE!

when playing sound from primary compupter to secondary sound is intermittent just like cursor. I'M TOLD THIS IS MONITORED BY STARDOCK PERSONNEL FOR SUPPORT PURPOSES. IS ANYBODY THERE?

Yes. Share clipboards is enabled. Just happened again. I was using with cursor on secondary. All of a sudden the cursor wouldn't move. Looking at primary, cursor wouldn't move to secondary. This happened while I was actually using it. Just not right.

The primary computer has multiplicity in the directory you referenced in your email. In the secondary computer there is no stardock or multiplicity directory in Program Files (86) so I don’t know where it’s installed. Not sure about your second question. The primary computer is connected to router via ethernet and the secondary is connected to the router via wifi. Connecting the secondary to the router via ethernet would not be easy. &nbs

I've run the purge bat file twice now. Ran it on both computers and restarted each time. It looks like it runs on the primary-I get some screens popping up so it looks like it's doing something. On the secondary computer it's not obvious that it runs anything. In any case, after reboot, Multiplicity still works (sort of) so the purge.bat isn't removing anything from either computer as far as I can see.

Finally got the bat file to download. ran it on both computers and rebooted. After reboot, multiplicity was running and working (sort of) so I can't see that there was much of a purge. I reinstalled the latest on both computers. It's just as flakey as it was before.

Recently updated second computer to windows 10-other computer was already windows 10. Now multiplicity is flakey. Sometimes it quits working on the second monitor even when I'm actively using it. Then the cursor won't move from the first to the second monitor. Then in a while it works again. Also, on the second monitor the cursor doesn't move smoothly, it jumps around and is hard to control. How can I fix these issues?

Look at the screen shot attached. I can put the Favorites fence where you see it or on top of the Current fence. I want to butt it up against the Current fence and not waste the screen space. HOW DO I DO THAT? Phooey! There is no way I can find to attach a screenshot. Why on earth don't you provide a decent way to communicate. The Favorites fence mentioned above can only be ontop of the Current fence or 1/4 below it. I need to butt them together to save space. HOW DO I DO THAT?

When a fence is rolled up, is there a way to make it be on top when it unrolls so that it is visible atop open windows?

I have two displays on my computer and keep most of my fences on the right display. Also, I occasionally use the right display to watch TV. After I finish doing this, all my fences have moved to the left screen and have to be manually moved back. Is there a way to prevent this?
