[e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] I'm looking for directions to hack the game files for Sins / Diplomacy to slow the pirates cycle time down. I mean how often the pirates start a bidding period / raid. Help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Prof.

[e digicons]>_>[/e] Amen. If you don't buy off the pirates, you're due for a visit. Period. How about a slider for the cycle time on the pirate's attacks, instead of just on / off? How about a little Diplomacy with the pirates to slow down their attacks? How do they get so strong? How about buying some of their technology? ( the pirates) Thanks, Prof. PS Mods on any of these would be greatly appreciate

[e digicons][/e] Here's another debug.err, with the same " Out of Memory " message. This crash and the previous one came when I clicked the Quick save button. I was clicking it after each turn when the turn buttom was green. I've changed the swap file to 16g total on three drives before I started this game. This macine has 6 gb of memory. here's the debug.err file -- The H: file is a 32g readyboost usb. thankx, prof.</

[e digicons][/e] I ran your regedit file then started up the Toa game again. Here's a new Debug.err file. A error message said "Out of Memory". I ran about 20 or so turns. This game was started up with Vista compatability mode settings. [e digicons][/e] I uninstalled Gal Civ 2 and Gal Civ Da then installed both one at a time thru Impulse, started Gal civ 2, set the video options, started Gal Civ Da, again set the video options and finally Toa would start. I suspect the original install was broken due to selecting all three to install at the same time. Thankx, Prof.

[e digicons]>_>[/e] I recently downloaded the new Microsoft Security Essentials AV scanner beta files onto my Vista Sp / 2 64 bit machine. I noticed that the latest version of Sins / Entrenchment started showing freezes and dropping down to the desktop. I hadn't changed anything else so I was suspicious of the beta app. Anybody having problems with Sins / Entrenchment and Microsoft's new app?

:) Well, I thought I`d play the beta a while to see about new stuff, and now I`m getting hooked. :d But I think I`m seeing a problem with the beta files controlling enemy fleet size. My last game at the old release level maintained a conservtive enemy fleet size. (with the small fleet setting) Now I`m seeing 2x or maybe 3x the size fleets piling up on my doorstep with the beta files. Can anyb

:) Well, I was wondering if player trade patterns with the axis of evil could cause their slowdown? Maybe some player techs have a bad effect on these civs progress? Thankx, Prof. :CONGRAT: PS what about minor race numbers?

:) Well, I really don`t have a clear idea, only I usually send my new freighters to a well positioned planet (of mine) before I chose a trade destination. Perhaps that`s when the "tagging" takes place? As well, if I don`t send these new ships to a planet of mine first, but just choose a close trade destination, there`s some formula to pick a planet to be from. Even though the freighter never was even close to that planet itself. And I was cu

:) Well, it looks like the ship fix patch or the afternoon upgrade from Impulse got the Aliens back to work. I`m once again swamped with occupied planets. Well done. :HOT: :HOT: Does the Impluse file replace the ship fix .exe? Vista is still warning me about an unsigned file. So, do I or not have the option to select mixed vertex processing mode and do I want to? My video card is a ATI 3870. Thankx, Prof. :

:) Yay, It`s Tuesday. Well, I ran into the TA .96 bug yesterday, in the aftermath, I completely uninstalled the full Gal Civ 2 games list, then reinstalled them thru Impulse. I think the .96 ship fix patch works. Now to the hard stuff, Logic`s HRGM2 setup looks for a Stardock Games/TotalGaming/Twilight path to place his mod folder+files. Well Impulse is putting the Gal Civ 2 games in a Stardock Games/GalCiv2 folder which makes the mod ha

:) I reporting from my latest game with the TA .96 update, all my races are well behind me in planet acqusition also they aren`t building any scouts or any other ships. The relations screen shows all at the weakest economy. I`ve reinstalled the TA files thru Impulse. cleared the My games ... TA folder. What gives? Prof. :CONGRAT:

:) Yay, it`s Monday, Ok I`m just now D/L the .96 TA files and this Mod is compatable. Right? Good. Next, great to see this Mod, the DA version was Awsum. :HOT: :HOT: Next, is there a path to these files starting from Impulse? Uh, other than Forums, Logics thread, Imods webpage? Well I just finished Logic`s download so I`m off to install. Thankx, Prof. :CONGRAT:
