its mainly due to the way the ui is ever changing in windows 10.unfortunately this i assume is hard to patch and fix all the time.each time windows updates the os the ui seems to change.they are talking about changing the ui even more.i got rid of my insider buils because they broke the skinning of windowblins and the looping ever since these past few insider builds lately. yes its a hassle but stardock cannot predict what windows does.best it can do is work on a fix as

15002 Insiders please read before you go bashing stardock as this is a windows issue: just tested on 15002 to confirm this didnt fix the titlebars on settings store etc uwp apps from spazzing out. doesnt really cause issues as far as i can see but it didnt change anything eitheir from the issues already there. Also note:this version of windows has alot of issues not even related to stardock at all,its best to wait for a new insider update

as the title says the next main update windows changed things. and i know windowblinds isnt made to support insider builds but this build is posed to be close to what normal people are supposed to be seeing in april worldwide,so sooner or later this will have to be fixed.Just a Heads up as im sure there will be some on the latest insider build complaining about this hiccup even if its not yalls fault

4k is still tech new technology and im not sure if the apps 4k ready and even if it is alot of the themes would have to be reconverted to a 4k resolution.i think i saw a topic awhile back asking if theres a way to make 4k themes but unsure

i want even aware onedrive and deskscapes had anything to do with one another as they are on different componets

do you have the latest windows 10 insider build because that errored on me too.i narrowed it down to me trying to install a 3rd party antivirus after.zonealarm to be exact.after 1-2 crashes that installed perfectly and hasnt happened since tho. seems to just be a minor glitch in the latest insider build. if not then idk what the issue is but for me that seemed to be the case on both upgrade and a clean install then installed

it was probably nvidia as well but the article i was looking at said it happened with intel 4000 series as well regardless i do think its a graphics driver issue. i looked further into the latest update as well for microsoft and there are supposed updates for the boot manager. if the boot manager was not configured properly before as well that could be an issue in itself. regardless i hope all gets fix

best article i can is from july stating that theres some graphics driver from intel that is crashing computers after 15 seconds of installing. you mentioned a microsoft windows update issue.was the said update some kind of graphics card update install? if so its on microsofts side and has been an issue.it could also be why you think its windowblinds itself. just a thought.make sure your drivers are up to date and not corrupted. &nb

sorry i might have led to some confusion.i didnt have the link handy to check the eula at the time.i was merely stating that it worked on 2 of my laptops.i dont own that many devices that can have a use for stardock so i was unsure.thanks to dave for posting the eula though. clear sailing mate

best thing id recommend is putting it on the thing you will be using the most then try the other devices starting from the most important. worst case is itll say too many activations on too many devices or something.i do know ive successfully put it on 2 of my laptops however if that helps i cant tell you if itll work on more than 2 devices however.thats just a trial and error

there is an oldschool hack unsure if it still works with windows 10 though and theres a site dedicated for dream alternitives.they are of a wmv and avi format usually since it would take away from stardocks revenue tho i refuse to tell you where this is. the smarter bet is just to cough up the 50 for the object desktop package whitch contains all the best addons from stardock for the yr and it includes unlimited access to wincustomize as well

i guess its a personal preference but imho edge is too finicky to begin with. i use torch browser myself.its a modified chrome with lots of useful support for things and i found a third party edge uninstaller. not sure on rules here on 3rd party software but i wont tell you where to find the uninstaller. i will say though according to the one that made the script tho,be sure you want to rip edge out.it wont destroy windows b

do you know how many software that has been pushed to the side.stardock has been running for a long time.that being said.you got different devs for different programs. im assumng the dev behind desktop prolly moved on and since desktop has been discontinued for awhile it would need a hell of a revamp be patient.hell for awhile most of stardocks apps werent compatiable with windows 10 and in a fairly short ammount of time we got a slew already.

i run the latest windows 14955 and windowblinds 10.4.9 and the black screen of death i swore doesnt happen nomore.how recent was this.did you try this during the 14946 phase or an earlier windows/windowsblind.because i think that was in an earlier version of windows/windowblinds glitch. they gave a suggestion how to fix the black screen of death back then.somewhere in forums if you look but ultimately an update was needed to eradicate.

ya same issue i reported as well. seems to only occur on notifications like i said i only use facebook and messenger modern apps but seems the issue is when theres unread messages the icons dissappear completely until you mark all as read hate to be a bother guys.im not denying your accomplishments.i just want it to work perfectly not just for myself but for all stardock customers seems to be less jitt

Update:Correction upon a reload of the store settings etc,everythings being skinned in this fashion.the metro apps are losing the close button and small top bars so apparently everythings skinning now lol

interesting.seems the latest windowblinds10 is starting to actually skin some modern apps now.i like what is done there,however the top bar dimensions are like super tiny line bar its hard to drag now.is there a setting somewhere im missing to make the height a bit bigger in this skinning process?

you wont have to i dont beleive but you will have much outdated software and if for any reason you need to reinstall them you wont be able to keep in mind though if your on windows 10 since the gui and everything changes so much youll want to renew subscription for patches fixes and improvements otherwise you could have issues. its like 30 bucks for a renewal tho if youve bought it before so you do get a discount for keeping it
