right click your taskbar and youll see cortana under toolbars section. you can hide her completely turn her into just the search bar or just show her as an icon.this is native in windows 10 so ya i think adding a feature like this would be pointless if it can already be done

well for the most part it is.the only thing i see that breaks it is the task viewer could be a problem if someone uses that i guess.odd this task viewer and windows 8 taskview doesnt seem like much difference but an icon tab you can click now.unsure why this breaks it but as far as i can tell thats the only thing. im sure they have plans to revamp the products.they just gave us an idea of what to use now while we wait.still...

i hardly use taskview so i wasnt even aware it breaks. but task view is the only thing that seems to break it for me i wonder if dreamscenes hack works again until its fixed hmm,testing

i wouldnt mind seeing an update to this and it may or may not be included in the new object desktop when it comes out someone on mdl forums made a gui scripted background changer that lets you change the logon to any background/color now.its a beta stage but i was wondering if anyone has figured out similar breakthrough in the stardock team.he proved it could be done and the gui does it easy,so making a script into a new logonstudio seems like something that can be done

works 100 percent in windows 10.just brings an unsupported dialog when you try to install it but you hit ok and it installs fine

considering windows 10 is almost here.for insiders we already have a rtm candidate build btw ;P maybe ;P

change the compatibility with the windows setup to windows 8 or 8.1 itll work in 10 beta then fine. note:because 8 and 10 are vastly different it will not work as you expect.some things can not be skinned by windowblinds as there was no support for them in 10.itll work but only halfway.also its wise to use start10 with this as thats what gives windowblinds a button otherwise itll be a blank space where the windows icon was.hope this helps

I was always wondering why this stayed in windows seven.if its a sound recreater why didn't it reach windows 8 compatibility or maybe a windows 10 update.this was a good program but it hasn't been updated in ages. would be nice to see this and maybe some abandon stardock ware in 10 or perhaps something entirely new and unexpected as a replacement the avp soundpack was my favorite

I'm unsure thatll work as launch8 went to the metro apps part of windows 8 that no longer exists in windows 10 ;p besides be patient as they are waiting till final windows on july 29th to bring a whole slew of new updates. I doubt launch 8 will be used though

chances are there will be no compatiability until windows 10 comes out of preview beta mode.they are working on things but you havve to understand what your playing with is not the final windows 10.its a prototype.that being said it takes alot of resources and money to perfect these addons and updates and i doubt they want to waste money on things that may not work in the official release.thats just my view on it
