Thank you for doing this. I fixed every single typo you reported. It won't be in tomorrows update but they will all be in before release. Thank you so much for doing this.

I verified this is working correctly. Maybe Bibiyana had the ring in inventory but didn't have it equipped? If anyone else is seeing this please let me know. A save of the problem would be ideal.
I spend a lot of time thinking about what would be fun to have in a 4x game. What are the things you guys would love to be able to do in a 4x game that you haven't been able to do yet?
It is, there is code that returns the gender without needing to have a unitstat set. I used some massive values on the checks to prove that it was working correctly.

This will be fixed in 1.7.
Heavenfall is absolutely right.
We went through all the crash reports that steam collects* and fixed the cause of 80% of them in 1.7. We will continue to monitor crashes after 1.7 releases. * Its actually a pretty cool process, steam gathers all the crash information and then links common crashes together so we can see what crashes are the most frequent.
We simplified his name during play testing, but I didn't change his internal name because I didn't want to risk breaking references.
The reason I named it differently was because the files are loaded in alphabetical order. So by placing an "a" in front of it I put the dead world leader at the top. Without it the dead leader appeared at the bottom of the list and players may not have noticed it was there.
This will be fixed in 1.6.
Heh. No, it's cool. We talk a LOT about the role of luck in strategy games. There is no right answer, it's part personal opinion and part magic. Luck can be good for forcing a player to adapt to circumstances, but bad when the player feels like they don't have control. Roulette is all luck. It's fun to pretend there is skill involved ("its been Black the last 4 times, its gotta be Red next!") but there is nothing but purely random chance.
It is a weird psychological phenomena that people tend to over-emphasize other players luck (or lack of bad luck) and under-emphasize their own luck. It leaves people with the feeling that, where luck is involved, the AI is getting some special help because it feels like it that are lucky more frequently than the player. We deal with this phenomena in all of our games, as does any game developer that builds games that include luck (and the tendency isn't just wi
Thanks for the support guys. We are definitely looking at other platforms too.
Welcome to the Dead Man’s Draw forum! We have been working on this game since 2006, so we are thrilled to give everyone the chance to play it. You're probably thinking, “You've been working on a mobile pirate card game for 7 years?!” Well…. kinda. The truth is that when I was working on Fall from Heaven I designed a mini-game to be playable in Fall from Heaven called Somnium. I enjoyed creating it, and it got a good response from fans.&
In my career, the most painful, upsetting lawsuits have been, by far, the patent related ones. They make my blood boil. This is one of the things that fascinates me about the game industry. What exactly are the patent trolls claiming you violate? User interface? Network technology? Making a blip move on a screen? Could you possibly name a few general areas where they are prone to attack?
We don't have an activation limit. What is the error you are seeing?
Im not able to repro it here. No, the fonts aren't installed in your windows/fonts directory. Please send me your debug file so I can see if it gives any errors.
Yes, we will maintain backward compatibility. But keep in mind that not all fixes will be fixed in save games (if they are data fixes your save game will still have the bug). I dont know if we will be doing a beta or not, probably.
Fixed, thanks.
The game assets aren't loaded on the main menu. We don't know if you are going to start a mod, scenario, load up a save game with older assets, etc. So we can't show the hiergamenon for them there. Civ did load the assets at the main menu which had its own advantages and disadvantages (you had to restart the game to change assets (such as to load Fall from Heaven). Not saying either way is better or worse, but it isn't simply an issue of putting a b
