I am also trying to change the email address linked to my account from the page: https://www.stardock.com/accounts/accountinfo I enter and verify the new email and a popup informs me an email has been sent to the entered address but it never arrives...

Well that's a shame. It's just kept working for me from the OS/2 version right through all the Windows incarnations since then - the utility of it is still there for me even in Win 10 [e digicons]|-)[/e] . Thanks for the reply.

Hi Dockers ;-) Just discovered a little issue with the environment variables that are passed to the launched apps. It was discovered when attempting to launch the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) from a CMD windows that was, in-turn, launched from OD+. The WSL won't start up (by typing 'wsl' at the command prompt), but if I start a CMD session from the windows start menu it's fine. This is a Windows 10 Pro Ver 1803, build 17134.191 system. To diagnose, I captured the

Not sure if it's relevant or of any real assistance but when I monitor the internal OD threads using SysInternals' Process Explorer tool I get a CPU activity spike in the following areas during the time that OD is unresponsive (as consistently as I can tell after closing an app that was launched from the dock): In ObjectDock.exe the thread is called ObjectDock.exe!DotNetCallback+0x35b90 - it spikes from ~0.01 to > 2.5 for the 'hang' duration In Dock64.exe th

For the record, I've come here to see if this was an issue with just me or happening generally (I'm getting the OD delay/hang after an app is launched/closed). I submitted the log and opened a support ticket. Cheers, Chris.

Not sure where to post for support on non-stardock games that are acquired through Impulse so Mods pls feel free to relocate this as appropriate... The game seems to crash quite regularly after a short time of playing - just drops to the desktop with the usual win7 "close, search for solution..." dialog. Some internet searching shows that there are updates available that address the crashing issue but so far only for the Steam version. Will these
The relative path is already set in the zip.
You'd have to make sure to extract those paths when you unzip it tho!! Sometimes the default is just to spray the contents out without the paths... depends on your unzip tools...
(by the way how to add line breaks in this forum? Seems that I can't press return)
Are you using SDC for forums? I get this too when using SDC. It's been this way on & off for a while now... A workaround is CTRL+M to get a new line... HTH.
Does anyone know how I can this tremedoues docklet to use Total Commander to open instead of explorer?
I'd be really interested to know how you intend to use TC in this way? Feed the stack to listbox? If so the docklet writer would have to know the TC API very well in order to hook into it to do this. I don't mean to be unkind, but I doubt the demand for such a feature would be very high. Or show the stack as normal (either in grid or linear) then when you click
Is there a way to do it ?
It's possible if you have OD+ and create a non-tabbed dock for your system tray. You can then add docklets (including SysStats) to this dock - however the purists might not like the separator bar that is automatically created between the docklets & system tray items when you do this. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/sd/SDC24.gi
I created a tabbed dock for my system tray icons
It doesn't need to be a tabbed dock, a zoomer dock works just fine... methinks it looks a bit better using a zoomer - u can turn off the zooming also.

"Dock Settings"->"Positioning"->"Interaction"->"Keep on Top, Hiding off-screen for maximised Applications" ? or "Dock Settings"->"Positioning"->"Interaction"->"Keep on Bottom" ?

Also, try checking the docklet's configuraton (rightclick->Configure...->Meters) You should be able to work out which entry is the meter, then select configure & work it out from there...
what happens if you save the theme in xp and then apply the theme saved in vista?
I reckon you'd be asking for trouble unless you were running the identical .exe in each case.

System tray works fine here with the 1.90 beta... First steps: In SDC->Settings->General I have "Enable MCP Notification Area Support" ticked, but "Enable MCP Smart Startup" UN ticked. In the directory: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock" if you have a Trayserver.exe file in there make sure it's renamed (eg to a non exe extension) or move it somewhere else & reboot. You can use transparent tabs though. And transparent backgrounds. There are loads to choose from in the WC libraries.

using IP will change icon for all files with the same extension. Since it's a film folders, there are all MPEGs but are different movie. I'm assuming you've created the flyout as a 'Folder'? If so then there's not many options from within OD that can help you. It's not hard to see why - OD is not responsible for rendering the icons in this case, it's just displaying the contents of the folder. One workaround is to change/create the flyout as a

Hi to all the WScript & VBS gurus - hoping you can give a relative nube a hand... I'm tring to format numbers in the range 0-99 with a field width of 2 i.e the single digits 0-9 should contain a leading zero makeing 00-09. In other words like the C comand: printf("%02d",...) I've been scouring the WScript 5.6 documentation but so far no joy. My intended purpose is to be able to create a date string in the form YYYYMMDD in which the MM & DD fields must always b

There's always the SysStats support to create docklets but... (I've thrown this 'nag' in on other OD+ docklet-related threads so why not here also? ...) Why not give OD the capability to host DesktopX widgets? That would automatically give OD users access to a lot of existing (DX) docklets. <a href="https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/" title="Posted via Stardock Central"

I can sort of see the utility of the OPs idea. FWIW I have the hotspot set to the middle of the edge that the dock is attached to, this way the mouse is already somewhere on the dock & there's not much more movement required to get to the app being launched. As well as OD+ I also have RightClick loaded for the apps I *really* use a lot. This pops up the menu wherever the mouse is. It only works if you can rightclick somewhere on the desktop *BUT* it does also open on pressing t
