Hi, quick question about the monitor layout above: Monitor 1 is the laptop own screen physically situated per the layout above Monitors 2 & 3 are a Samsung C49RG9x 49" monitor configured as 2 x 2560 x 1440 monitors (Samsung "PBP" - "Picture by Picture" mode). Monitor 2 is configured as the main display with <span style="background-color: #fdfdfd; font-
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the Win11 vertical taskbar functionality! Only been using for a few hours but so far flawless. On a 49" wide screen it's magic. I lived with the taskbar vertical on Win10. Thanks again!
👌👍
Stardock, Could you please bring back the Win10 option to always show all taskbar icons rather than having to go into "taskbar corner overflow" and enabling each individually. Even MS can't do this right as every time you update an app you have to re-enable it. Thanks
+1 Cheers, Chris.

Win11 21H2 10.0.22000.493 Can I add the request to *please* permit the taskbar to be oriented vertically on a screen edge?! There appear to be a few third party hack to achieve this but reading the blurb looks like it reverts back to some other Win10 functionality that I'm concerned might interfere with Start 11 Cheers, Chris
Win 10 21H1 Build 10.0.19043.1266 Is there a way to 'refresh' the Universal Applications menu list? My MS Edge icon is missing: The properties of that entry contains the following target path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start11\Launch.exe" /Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe!MicrosoftE

Win 10 21H1 Build 10.0.19043.1202 I'm seeing an issue where mousing over the items in the right-hand side places list (when configured to 'Display as Menu') only about first 80% of the menu items are accessible. This is regardless of the length of the menu - eg a menu with12 items the mouse reaches 10 of them. The mouse highlight cursor stops highlighting at the item that's ~80% - they are also not selectable by the mouse (scrolling with arrow keys works). Pls re
Windows v 21H1 Build 19043.1165 Start11 0.5 After uninstalling Start10 and installing Start11, then rebooting, one of the program shortcuts pinned to the Start11 menu, for Microsoft Sticky Notes, returned an error when I clicked on it. I can't remember exactly what it said, I think it was "the program the shortcut points to no longer exists, do you want to delete the shortcut?". I deleted it, searched for "s

While attempting to troubleshoot this I came across a similar forum thread for Start10 which mentioned trying Start10tweak.exe in the program folder. When I look in the Start11 program folder I found many 'Start10'-named files (including Start10Tweak.exe). <p style="padding-left:

Running Win 10 21H1 build 19043.1165 Uninstalled Start 10 (for which I had various custom icons & textures) and replace with Start 11 and have a couple of questions/observations: 1. Per subject line: Is there a way to apply my customised Start10 settings? I can no longer get to those customised items from the settings. 2. The entries pinned to the main menu which pointed to 'launche.exe' no longer work with the message: "The item 'Launch.exe' that this sh

Hi Basj, Thanks for the quick reply. How do you display the "View Individual Downloads" list in Object Desktop Manager like that? I'm running V4.01 of OD manager, is there a newer version? In any case it appears that it was related to .Net Framework 3.5 not being enabled in the Windows Features of the new PC. Once that was installed I was able to reinstall Icon Developer from an old archive I (finally) found and re-register it. It's version Icon
Hi, Sorry to resurrect such an old thread... I'm unable to re-install Icon Developer on a new Win 10 laptop. I've loaded all my other purchased Stardock software including the Object Desktop app that shows Icon Developer as 'incompatible'. It's not listed in my store account purchases, nor my order history - which goes back to 2002! but I've been a Stardock customer since the OS2 days. I thought it was part of the Object Desktop suite (for which I h
It's funny, I have the right-click -> WinX Context menu functionality on one PC but not on a 2nd. The first PC had Start8 installed when it was running Win8.1 and both Windows and Start8 have been upgraded to 10. The 2nd PC Start10 was installed straight onto Win10. I assume this was a setting from Start8 that has been removed from Start10? The Win+X context menu right-click behaviour can be resurrected for Win10 by adding a REG_SZ registry key called: ShowWinX (value
