How many monitors do you have? And do they have the same dpi as each other?
Two monitors. Primary Monitor: 32" Ultrawide, 3440x1440p resolution. Secondary Monitor: 27" 1920x1080p resolution. I am running Start 11 2.55 Beta, and Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26120.5790] I am running Windows Insider for Beta Builds. </
Just wanted to chime in...... I too have this problem. I tried the v2.55 beta version but it did not fix the problem. For now, I have disabled Start 11 from managing the taskbar, the only way to solve it is to disable that. But that is a workaround until Stardock fixes it.
Please mention the competitor who does allow moving the task bar to the verticle position. I spent $50 to get this stupid Start11 software and it doesn't do THE ONE THING I NEED - a vertical taskbar.
Well first off, you could have just bought Start11 without any of the other software. Start11 by itself is only $5.99 (or, $14.99 for 5 computers, which is basically $3 per computer). If you bou
So, i'm one of those people that actually really likes the native Windows 11 Start Menu, but it is not customizable enough for me. So I was very pleased to see that Start 11 now includes a Windows 11 like Start Menu..... I've played with it a few days, and have the following suggestions for the next version: 1) Allow the start menu to be resized. It seems a little large and clunky at the moment, especially on a 1080p screen. That may look really nice on a 4k screen, but it seems a bit
I couldn't figure our why Chrome would not start AT ALL (process suspended in process monitor) after upgrading to build 16232.1000, which is the Fall Creators Update preview.... finally, after a good amount of coffee, I figured out that it was Windowblinds that was the cause. Solution: exclude chrome.exe from skinning, and voila! Chrome starts up just fine.... I'll be awaiting the next bugfix release that will fix this. ;-) I just thought I would post this in case anyone is ra
Solution: Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\WindowBlinds Delete "rebootrequired.txt" Run installer again.
I can also confirm that as soon as I re-installed 10.58 beta, the button moved again to cover minimize. Not just with the modern theme, but with various themes. I guess i'll just keep Chrome unskinned until y'all bug fix it. :)
Yeah I rebooted plenty of times as of late.. I decided to take a more drastic course: I decided that Insider Builds were not for me because it broke something else. (ESXi VMware 6.5 web client was acting up, and I need that). So, I went back to 1607.... In order this is what I did: Went back to Windows 10 1607. - Did not fix chrome. Uninstalled Windowblinds 10.58. Reboot. Installed Windowblinds 10.50. Reboot. Problem fixed. The problem here is wi
I have a problem with Chrome when using a Windowsblinds 10 skin. I currently run: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.15058], I am on the "Slow" Insider rollout - And the appropriate Windowblinds 10 beta version to make Windowblinds work. When using the "Modern" theme, the chrome button that displays your account/name etc, covers the minimize button. I am now using 1.4.1. I would like to report that on occasion, about once a week actually, the taskbar completely locks up. Right clicking does not work, clicking on the start menu does not work. When this starts happening, for a WHILE I can still use the Windows button on the keyboard to make the menu pop up. But I pretty much have to wait till a reboot, or till I run task manager and end the tasks, services, and restart them. It seems to happen most when I use VirtualBox (I
The problem described above does still exist, and I would like to "officially report" it. Sometimes I come back to my computer with no programs running, and I cannot click the start button, nor can I click anything in the system tray. Then when I right-click on the desktop, the menu shows black. Sometimes it automatically restarts the Start8 service at that point, sometimes I have to restart it manually. This behavior did not happen in the 1.3x version, and happened ONLY in th
