Thank you for your reply. I am using windows in the Japanese language so I apologize if my expressions are a little off. I checked what theme I was using, and it seems like I am using one that does not use DWM. I can only select the themes between "Aero theme","Basic theme" and "High contrast theme", so am guessing that I need and could install some other themes that would use the DWM.
